Research On The Construction Of Female Media Image In The Variety Show Of "Girls Group" From The Perspective Of Symbolic Interactionism ——Take “Sisters Who Makes Waves” As An Example

The topic of "female media image" has been studied in the field of journalism and communication in China.With the continuous development of media convergence and the continuous popularity of network media products,variety shows have become an important way to present and construct female media image.In 2020,a wave of variety shows and film and television works with female protagonists from the perspective of women in China will usher in an explosion.The female media image constructed by variety shows can reflect the female situation in reality,expand the group expression of women,and play the function of social gender construction.Therefore,the construction of healthy female media images is conducive to the transmission of correct female values and the concept of equality between men and women,freeing women from the status of "others",further breaking gender stereotypes,and improving women’s status and self-identity.From the theoretical perspective of symbolic interaction theory,this paper selected in recent years,the most representative female variety "A sister who braves the wind and waves"（first quarter）as a case study,the integrated use of text analysis,case study method,the research method of literature research and the observation station of the variety show female media image construction issues.This paper mainly analyzes the symbolic interaction elements involved in media image construction,the image construction and model of cases in individual interaction,and the female media image construction and model of cases in social interaction.Through the research,this paper finds that the program text of "A sister who braves the wind and waves" completes the construction of female media image by means of linguistic symbols and non-linguistic symbols and through the interaction of multiple symbols.It mainly Outlines female media images with different shapes and diverse personalities,professional female media images focusing on hard work,and female media images focusing on emotional healing.The above female media images objectively realize the positive significance of "anti-traditional" reconstruction of female media images,empowerment of female subject discourse,and promotion of female identity.However,there are some shortcomings in the production of the program,such as exposing the implicit "male gaze" discipline,being coerced by consumerism and gender stereotypes."A sister who braves the wind and waves" from the Angle of the female media research of image construction,reveals the variety show women in a symbolic process,strategy and model of the construction of media image,for the future "to" women variety shows the orientation and content of design laid a solid foundation,and the embodiment of the symbolic elements to the variety of text mode provides a certain reference value.
