Breast cancer and cervical cancer are two major cancers that endanger women’s life and health, and they are also major public health problems in society. With the evolution of the healthy development model of all human beings, more and more people pay attention to the cancer group and pay more attention to personal health. Many families have been transformed into crisis and stress families due to cancer.Family members are at a loss due to the arrival of cancer, and there is a process of "denial-anger-compromise-frustration-acceptance" towards cancer. For families with cancer, the treatment time for cancer is very long and the cost of treatment is expensive. They cannot change the reality of cancer, but are forced to accept it and regard cancer as a difficulty,a setback and a hurdle in life. This paper focuses on the three levels of Walsh’s family resilience theory: family belief system, family organization model and family communication process,to explore the reasons for the low resilience of rural cancer-affected families,to look at the family from the perspective of advantages, and to help them explore The existence of internal and external resources in the family improves the family’s ability to face risks.Based on the care project for women with two cancers in H district of Ningxia, this study provides professional social work services for 32 rural women with two cancers. The author obtained first-hand information through literature method,semi-structured interview method and field observation method, and used group work method to intervene in the families of two cancer patients in rural areas of Ningxia.Through household visits, the author found that rural women with two cancers generally have low resilience in their families, and there are problems such as the collapse of belief systems, poor communication among family members, and unreasonable family division of labor.Based on this, the social worker selected six typical families of two different types to carry out nine group activities with the theme of "Peer Mutual Aid" family support for two cancer patients, and used the theory of family resilience as the theoretical basis of this paper, throughout the service. The first three group activities focus on reconstructing the family belief system, the fourth and fifth group activities focus on improving the family organization model, and the last four group activities focus on learning family communication methods. In changing the concept of family members, cancer is regarded as an opportunity to reconstruct family relationships,so as to improve the resilience of the entire rural cancer-affected family. This study shows that peer support groups play a vital role in improving the resilience of rural cancer families with different family structures. They can provide peer group support for cancer families, link social and economic resources, strengthen subject beliefs, and improve family organization models.,to enhance family cohesion. There are deficiencies in this study, such as the lack of local practice of family resilience theory, the lack of professional intervention, and the limitations of group activities. This research not only enriches the theoretical and practical field of family resilience, but also provides a reference for the localization of family resilience.
