| As an effective channel to realize the optimal allocation of rural land resources, land circulation is related to the effective development of agricultural industrialization and modernization. The choice of land transfer mode is a necessary link in the implementation of the transfer policy. There is heterogeneity among different transfer methods. It is necessary to conduct an in-depth analysis of the specific implementation methods of land transfer. In recent years, although my country’s support for land transfer has been continuously strengthened, because the main behavior of farmers is affected by risk preference, and the proportion of non-agricultural income in the total income of farmers is gradually rising, the risk preference and income structure changes of farmers are both important. The behavioral decision-making of farmers’ land circulation patterns has an impact. The land transfer method is an important measure to strengthen the land transfer. The rational design of the land transfer method is not only an objective requirement for the smooth development of the transfer policy, but also an inevitable choice to meet the long-term livelihood of farmers and protect their interests. Therefore, this paper analyzes the influence of risk preference and non-agricultural employment on the choice of farmers’ land transfer mode by sorting out relevant domestic and foreign literature, and further reveals the risk preference and non-agricultural employment from the perspective of farmers’ land scale. There are differences in impact. This will help provide direction for relevant policy formulations and promote large-scale development of agriculture.Based on the theory of land property rights, the theory of bounded rational decision-making,the theory of risk preference, and the theory of labor transfer, this paper firstly analyzes the status quo of farmers’ risk preference,non-agricultural employment and land transfer methods in the sample area, and discusses the problem of land transfer in reality.Secondly, based on the data obtained from the field investigation in Xianyang City, and with the self-employment of land as a reference,a disordered multivariate regression model is established to measure the impact of risk preference and non-agricultural employment on the choice of land ploughing, leasing, and shareholding. The moderating effect of agricultural employment in the impact of risk preference on farmers’ choice of land transfer mode, using the method of replacing variables,to test the robustness of the empirical results of the moderating effect. Then, considering that farmers with different land scales have different anti-risk capabilities, according to the classification of farmers’ land scales, the impact of risk preference and non-agricultural employment on farmers’ choice of land transfer methods under different scales is analyzed. Finally, based on the conclusions, policy recommendations are put forward. The results of this paper show that:(1)Risk preference has a positive effect on farmers’ choice of land transfer methods.Under the influence of farmers’ disgust, farmers will reduce the choice of land transfer methods. The degree of effect is in descending order.Shareholding, leasing, farming on behalf of others.(2)Non-agricultural employment is an important factor for farmers to choose land transfer methods. The increase in the proportion of non-agricultural employment will encourage farmers to choose land transfer methods.Non-agricultural employment has a significant positive impact on farmer’s management rights, leasing, and shareholding.Among them, farmers with a high proportion of non-agricultural employment have a higher incidence of choosing to buy shares.(3)Non-agricultural employment plays a positive regulating role in the choice of the transfer mode of farmers’ households by risk preference, and is most significant for the transfer mode of shareholding. The non-agricultural employment income of farmers can increase the income of farmers, thereby enhancing the positive impact of risk preference on the choice of land transfer methods.(4)Scale heterogeneity analysis found that risk preference and non-agricultural employment have a significant impact on small-scale and medium-scale farmers’ land transfer patterns, but the impact of risk preference and non-agricultural employment on farmers of different scales is also significantly different.Non-agricultural employment The moderating effect of the index has a greater impact on the small-scale farmers, the medium-scale farmers have the least impact, and the large-scale farmers are not obvious.Based on the research conclusions and practical problems, this paper puts forward relevant policy suggestions from three levels of farmers’ risk preference,non-agricultural employment, and land transfer methods:(1)Improve farmers’ risk preference and establish a risk sharing mechanism.(2)Cultivate non-agricultural employment ability and increase non-agricultural employment opportunities.(3)Do a good job in strengthening land transfer management, and standardize land transfer methods and procedures to promote land transfer. |
