| According to the latest data of the seventh census,the proportion of the elderly population over 60 years old in Liaoning Province reaches 25.72%,which means that more than a quarter of the population in Liaoning Province is elderly,making it the province with the deepest aging degree in China.Too high a proportion of the elderly population will inevitably have an important impact on social development,especially on economic development.At present,China’s economic development has entered a new normal,and the outline of the 14 th Five-Year Plan advocates the establishment of a large domestic circulation to stimulate consumption growth by stimulating domestic demand.As one of the old industrial bases in Northeast China,Liaoning Province is facing the urgent need of economic transformation.Therefore,it is of great significance for the future economic development of Liaoning Province whether the aging population can stimulate the growth of service consumption and help Liaoning Province achieve economic transformation.Based on the data of China Household Finance Survey Database（CHFS）in 2017,this paper makes an empirical analysis by using the least square method.The purpose is to explore the impact of aging population on the upgrading of consumption structure in Liaoning Province,and explore the realization path of aging population on the upgrading of consumption structure,so as to provide a useful reference for the economic development of Liaoning Province.The thesis consists of five parts.The first part is the introduction.Firstly,it introduces the research background,and sorts out and evaluates the relevant literature at home and abroad.The second part defines the related concepts,and elaborates the theoretical basis on which the article is based.In the third part,based on the data of the National Bureau of Statistics and the statistical yearbook of Liaoning Province over the years,the current situation of population aging,consumption level and consumption structure in Liaoning Province is elaborated in detail,and the main characteristics in the process of aging and consumption structure change in Liaoning Province are systematically summarized.The fourth part is empirical analysis.Firstly,it analyzes the impact of population aging on the upgrading of consumption structure in Liaoning Province.Secondly,further analyze the influence direction of aging population on the internal parts of consumption structure,and explore the realization path of aging affecting the upgrading of consumption structure;Thirdly,through the division of urban and rural areas and the construction of the interaction between aging and household per capita assets,it explores the heterogeneity of the impact of population aging on the upgrading of consumption structure between urban and rural areas and under different household economic conditions;Finally,the robustness of the paper results is verified by replacing the indicators.The results show that the aging population in Liaoning province has a significant role in promoting the upgrading of household consumption structure.The aging of population mainly promotes the upgrading of consumption structure by stimulating leisure and entertainment expenditure and medical care expenditure;The promotion of consumption structure upgrading of urban population aging is more significant,and family economic conditions will positively adjust the consumption structure upgrading effect of population aging.The fifth part is the countermeasures and suggestions.Combined with the empirical research results and social reality,this paper puts forward relevant suggestions from three levels: government,enterprises and society.On the whole,we should develop the economy,improve the silver-haired consumption market,improve the enterprise and social security,speed up urbanization and rural revitalization,and encourage the old people to find new jobs,so as to tap the consumption potential of the old people and boost the economic development of Liaoning Province. |
