In the centenary of the founding of the Communist Party of my country, our country has achieved the great goal of the first centenary struggle and achieved a comprehensive victory in the battle against poverty.According to the "Seventh National Census" data, although my country has been lifted out of absolute poverty,it has shown new characteristics and new trends of the "five modernizations" : aging, low birthrate,non-marriage,urban agglomeration, class solidification, population The bonus will continue to exist, and the new advantages of the talent bonus will gradually emerge. However,in recent years, the mobility of social classes has slowed down, and the phenomenon of “hard-to-have children” is prominent.Among the many factors affecting intergenerational income mobility, there is no doubt about the role of human capital.Human capital is the key source of narrowing the income gap, breaking the barriers of the labor market and talent mobility mechanism, and increasing national wealth and income.an important way of capital formation. As my country enters the stage of popularization of higher education and the accumulation of human capital continues to increase,it is meaningful to study the impact of human capital on intergenerational income mobility.Firstly,it summarizes relevant domestic and foreign literatures, and expounds related concepts and theories, and clarifies the connotation of human capital and intergenerational income mobility.Based on the connotation and theoretical basis, this paper analyzes the mechanism of the influence of educational human capital on intergenerational income mobility in detail and in-depth from the direct and indirect paths.Secondly,it analyzes the current situation of human capital and residents’ income in my country from multiple aspects, and selects the CFPS sample data from 2012 to2020 to use income transformation matrix, benchmark regression, quantile regression, and mediation effect model to carry out the relationship between educational human capital and intergenerational income.Comprehensive analysis of liquidity effects. The empirical results show that: first, the income conversion matrix results show that there is a phenomenon of class solidification in my country;second, the benchmark regression results show that the income of the parent has a significant impact on the income of the offspring, and the intergenerational income elasticity of residents is0.0735,and there are Heterogeneity of gender, urban and rural areas, and regions, the influence of fathers on daughters is obviously higher than that of sons, while urban stratification is more serious than that in rural areas, and the intergenerational income mobility in eastern regions is much lower than that of sons. The other three regions;third, after adding the variable of educational human capital, educational human capital has a significant impact on the reduction of intergenerational income elasticity, and the indirect impact of human capital on intergenerational income mobility is20.9%,there is indeed a mediating effect. The quantile regression results show that the intergenerational income elasticity of the low-income class is twice that of the high-class intergenerational income elasticity, and the offspring of the low-income class has the highest positive and significant effect on offspring income, which is0.166.And there are gender, urban and rural, and regional heterogeneity under different income groups. Finally, based on the analysis of the status quo and empirical results, relevant policy suggestions are put forward: optimizing the income distribution structure, focusing on the investment of human capital in women’s education, further promoting the construction of new urbanization, tilting educational resources to rural areas, coordinating the coordinated development of regional education, focusing on alleviating low The human capital investment constraints of the income class, the improvement of the digital education system, and the policies to enhance the education human capital of residents. The innovation lies in the research object and research content. On the one hand, most of the previous literature focused on the research of public education expenditure or social status on intergenerational income mobility and social stratum intergenerational mobility. From the perspective of educational human capital, this paper uses quantile regression to measure and analyze the overall intergenerational income mobility, and analyzes the heterogeneity of urban and rural areas, regions and gender,so as to make the research more comprehensive and specific; On the other hand,we choose to combine the current situation analysis from the macro perspective with the empirical analysis from the micro perspective. At the same time, considering the intermediary role of educational human capital,we further enrich the research content.
