A Study On The Relationship Between 3-6 Years Old Children’s Social Adaptive Development And Family Function In Southern Fujian

The social adjustment of young children is one of the most important indicators of their mental health.Studies have shown that family functioning is closely related to several aspects of young children’s development.To promote the better development of young children,it is necessary to study the relationship between young children’s social adjustment and family functioning.Based on previous research,this study uses a combination of quantitative and qualitative research to explore the relationship between social adjustment and family functioning among young children in southern Fujian.Firstly,a questionnaire was administered to 500 parents of young children in six kindergartens in Quanzhou,Xiamen and Zhangzhou cities of Fujian Province using whole-group sampling to assess and analyse the social adjustment development and family functioning of young children;secondly,an interview outline was prepared based on the questionnaire analysis,and parents from four representative families were selected for interviews to gain an in-depth understanding of the social adjustment development and family functioning of young children.The specific situation.The results of the study: firstly,the social adjustment development of 3-6-year-olds is generally at a good level,and there are adaptation difficulties in the family attachment items of young children;secondly,there is no significant gender difference in the level of social adjustment development of 3-6-year-olds,and there is a significant age difference;thirdly,the family function of 3-6-year-olds is generally at a healthy level,but the behavioural control,emotional response and role function of family function still Fourth,the social adjustment development of 3-6-year-olds is significantly and positively related to all dimensions of family functioning,and parental education,work,income and consistency in parenting style are significantly related to the social adjustment development of young children;Fifth,parental education,role function and emotional involvement in the family significantly predict the social adjustment development of young children;sixthly,the interview results further confirmed that the social adjustment development of 3-6-year-olds was influenced B-Y family function execution,parental education,emotional involvement,and role functions.Family communication and division of labour situations influenced role function execution,family communication and division of labour affect the execution of role functions,and family rules affect the execution of behavioural control and emotional response functions.The study recommends: First,to pay attention to the emotional and interpersonal status of children with poor social adjustment development;second,to help families in a disadvantaged position through joint efforts;third,to improve the implementation of role functions through effective communication and reasonable division of labour;fourth,to promote the social adjustment development of young children through appropriate emotional involvement of parents;fifth to jointly develop family rules to improve the implementation of behavioural control and emotional response functions.
