| Background:Chronic nonspecific low back pain(CNSLBP)is a disease with high incidence, which has become a serious medical and social problem.Related studies have confirmed that there is a balance control disorder in Patients with CNSLBP,but there are few studies on the improvement of CNSLBP balance ability.Kinesio Tapingis a popular soft tissue patch technique, which has many mechanisms such as relieving pain, improving muscle strength and enhancing proprioceptive sensation. There are many studies on KT in the treatment of chronic non-specific low back pain, but there are few studies on the change of balance ability. Therefore,in this study, different types of KT were used to intervene patients with chronic nonspecific low back pain, and index tests were carried out at different time points to observe the changes of balance ability of patients with chronic non-specific low back pain, and to explore its mechanism. Objective:Sixty college students with chronic nonspecific low back pain were randomly divided into Kinesio Taping group(KT)(n = 20),Tonicity Taping group(TT)(n= 20)and blank control group(NT)(n = 20).The Kinesio Tape was used in the KT group, the Tonicity tape with the same material as the Kinesio Tape but without water ripple was used in the Tonicity Taping group, and The blank control group received no intervention.KT group and TT group received a total of two patch interventions, and the patch was changed on the third day.The data of VAS pain score,Sensory Organization Test, limit of stability, static posture stability test and YBT dynamic balance test were collected before,1 hour,3 days and 6 days after patch.Two-way repeated-measures ANOVA was used for statistical analysisResult:(1)VAS pain score: The pain scores of the KT group and the TT group were significantly improved after 3 days and 6 days of taping compared with those before taping and the blank control group(P<0.05),and there was no significant difference in the other comparisons(P<0.05).P>0.05).(2)Sensory Organization Test: The equilibrium score results showed that in condition 2 and 3,The equilibrium score of the KT group and TT group after 6 days of taping were significantly improved compared with those before taping and the blank control group(P<0.05);in condition 6 and Comprehensive, the KT group and TT group were significantly improved after 3 days and 6 days of taping compared with before taping and blank control group(P < 0.05).The results of sensory analysis showed that in the scores of proprioception and visual dependence, the scores of the KT group and TT group after 6 days of taping were significantly improved compared with those before taping and the blank control group(P<0.05).;The other comparisons showed no significant difference(P>0.05).(3)limit of stability: The reaction time results showed that in the front, back, right, left, and comprehensive directions, the reaction time of the kinesio tape group and elastic tape group after 6 days of taping was significantly improved compared with that before taping(P<0.05),among which,in the anterior and posterior directions, the reaction time of the KT group was significantly improved after 3days of taping compared with that before taping(P<0.05);in the anterior, posterior, left, and comprehensive directions Compared with the blank control group, the reaction time of the KT group and the TT group were significantly improved after 6 days of taping(P<0.05),and there was no significant difference in the other comparisons(P>0.05).The results of movement velocity showed that in the front and comprehensive directions, the movement velocity after 6 days of taping was significantly improved compared with the before taping and the blank control group(P<0.05),and there was no significant difference in other comparisons(P>0.05);The direction control results showed that in the anterior, posterior and comprehensive directions, the directional control ability of the KT group and the TT group after 6 days of taping was significantly improved compared with the before taping and the blank control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in other comparisons(P>0.05).(5)Static postural stability test: in the overall and in the Anterior-posterior direction, the stability scores of the kinesio tape group and the elastic tape group after 6 days of taping were significantly improved compared with the before taping and the blank control group(P<0.05),and the other comparisons showed no significant difference(P>0.05).(6)YBT dynamic balance test: the stretching distance of the KT group and the TT group after 6 days of taping were significantly improved compared with those before taping and the blank control group(P<0.05),and there was no significant difference in the other comparisons(P> 0.05).Conclusion:(1)Kinesio taping can improve the dynamic and static balance ability of patients with chronic nonspecific low back pain while relieving pain.(2)Kinesio taping can improve the proprioception of patients with chronic non-specific low back pain to improve their balance ability;About limits of stability,Kinesio taping can improve the anterior, posterior, right and left directions of patients with chronic non-specific low back pain reaction time, movement speed in the forward direction, and directional control in the forward and backward directions.(3)About limits of stability, the effect of Kinesio tape is better than that of Tonicity tape without water ripples in improving the reaction time of the front and rear directions. |
