Due to the difference in modernisation between urban and rural areas,there is still a gap between urban and rural areas in terms of economic,cultural and living conditions,and the impact of intergenerational care for older people in urban and rural areas is very different.Age,children’s relationships,their own economic standard of living and community support all have an impact on their quality of life.This paper takes some of the elderly people in intergenerational care in L district of Q city in Shandong province as the research object,conducts relevant questionnaires and in-depth interviews,collects 457 questionnaires through incidental sampling and snowball sampling methods,screens out 396 valid questionnaires,uses SPSS24.0software to collate,enter and analyse the questionnaire data,through variance analysis,correlation analysis and regression analysis of the questionnaire data,on the Based on the results of data analysis and empirical tests,it was found that without considering the community resources they possessed,subjective economic living standards had a significant impact on the quality of life of urban elderly people,but not on the quality of life of rural elderly people;age had a significant impact on the quality of life of rural elderly people and an insignificant impact on the quality of life of urban elderly people,at which time the relationship between children both significantly affected the quality of life of urban and rural elderly people In the current social context,there are urban-rural differences in the factors affecting the quality of life of older people,with subjective economic living standards,child relationships and community support still significantly affecting the quality of life of older people in urban areas,while for older people in rural areas,only the community resources they have significantly affect the quality of life of older people at this time;in the current social context,there are urban-rural differences in the factors affecting the quality of life of older people,with subjective economic living standards In the current social context,there is an urban-rural difference in the factors affecting the quality of life of older people,with subjective economic living standards significantly affecting the quality of life of older people in urban areas but not in rural areas.Based on the above findings,this paper proposes to give support at the economic,life care and spiritual comfort levels from four aspects: family,social organisations,policy and culture,focus on the social work professionalism of services,precise supply,promote the effective improvement of the supply of healthy elderly services,respect cultural differences and enrich the spiritual and cultural life of the elderly.
