| With the development of information technology,great changes have taken place in mathematics education.Many technologies are presented to assist students in learning.Using technical software can not only enrich teachers’ teaching means,but also provide students with a better learning environment.In order to meet the curriculum reform,taking the latest PEP as an example,technical software in the book is diverse and accounts for a large proportion.It can be seen that China attaches great importance to the use of appropriate information technology in mathematics class.According to the curriculum standards,teachers should emphasize the deep integration of information technology and mathematics curriculum.The survey found that the math software used by teachers is relatively simple,and the most used is PPT.PPT can help students understand conceptual knowledge quickly.However,such abstract knowledge as the properties and graph of exponential and logarithmic functions is difficult for students to understand.Some students even expressed the need to mechanically memorize the results of images.This is one of the reasons why students think math is difficult,which may lead to students’ aversion to mathematics.This experimental study is guided by theory.Firstly,I search relevant literature,study the use of information technology in class,and understand the application examples of Matlab.By investigating students and teachers,I understand the current teaching problems of exponential and logarithmic.Through investigation,the research topics are determined:the image and properties of exponential function or logarithmic function and the approximate solution of equation by dichotomy.Under the guidance of Constructivist Learning Theory and Transfer Theory,we use Matlab to learn exponential function and logarithmic function.Take the two classes in Hefei H Middle School as object,analyze the experimental result and reflect on the deficiency.The experiment found that compared with traditional teaching mode in the study of exponential function and logarithmic function,Matlab can arouse students’ interest,stimulate inquiry consciousness,change "emphasizing results and neglecting process",cultivate mathematical literacy or programming ability and improve students’ grades.Meanwhile,it shows the feasibility of integrating Matlab into math teaching. |
