Research On The Ideological And Political Education Function Of Political Rituals ——Taking The Celebrations Of The 100th Anniversary Of The Founding Of The Communist Party Of China As Examples

Ideological and political work is an important way to govern the country and the Party,and ideological and political education is an important grasp of the Party’s construction.How to take Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics in the New Era as the guidance,constantly enrich the ways and means of ideological and political education,and give full play to the ideological and political education function of political rituals is an issue of the times for ideological and political education theoretical research and practical innovation.The Chinese nation has always attached great importance to rituals,and the rich culture of rituals provides us with methodologies and resources for studying political rituals.2021 coincides with the centenary of the founding of the Party,and the country has carried out various forms and rich activities to celebrate or commemorate the event,and the sense of political rituals is very strong,which provides excellent resources and materials for studying the ideological and political education function of political rituals.The Outline for the Implementation of Patriotic Education in the New Era explicitly calls for "paying attention to the use of ceremonial rituals" and "organizing major commemorative activities"（1）.For the first time,the political construction of the Party is put at the top of the Party’s construction in the report of the 19 th Party Congress.Studying the ideological and political education function of political rituals has an important consolidating role in maintaining the guiding position of Marxism and the ruling position of the Party,and a special role in enhancing the political,ideological,cultural and emotional identity of the nation.To innovate the content and form of political rituals,strengthen and improve ideological and political work in the new era,the systematic study of outstanding Chinese culture is of great value for theoretical innovation and practical exploration of ideological and political work,and is of great practical significance for connoting socialist core values,cultivating sincere national patriotic feelings,and enhancing national pride and self-confidence.In the research process,the author adheres to Marxist methodology,closely combines documentary research method and survey research method,fully uses multidisciplinary research results,and supports the arguments of this thesis with examples and data,which is a major innovation point of this paper.The author firstly starts from understanding and grasping important concepts such as political rituals and ideological and political education functions,and analyzes and summarizes them from the perspective of multiple disciplines to form his own research style.It is believed that the ideological and political education functions of political rituals are mainly reflected in: strengthening political identity,stimulating moral emotions,enhancing cultural self-confidence,and integrating ideological and political education resources.And on this basis,through online questionnaires and field interviews,we understand the current situation of playing the ideological and political education function of political rituals,especially the great role of political rituals in enhancing participants’（educated）recognition of the party and the state,and the gradual universalization and normalization of holding political rituals.An in-depth analysis of the causes is conducted for the main problems that exist in the current political rituals such as single,lack of emotional experience of the participating subjects,and unsound evaluation and feedback mechanisms.This study concludes that the incomplete understanding of organizers and planners,the lack of reasonable application of diverse communication channels for political rituals,and the complex social environment interfering with the mainstream value orientation are important reasons.In response to the problems,the paths of raising awareness of the importance of the ideological and political education function of political rituals,establishing an ideological and political education system for political rituals,and innovating and strengthening the ideological and political education content of political rituals are proposed.The research perspective,method and realization path of this paper are of reference and guidance for further strengthening ideological and political work in the new era and giving full play to the special role of political rituals in defending the "two establishments"（1）and achieving the "two safeguards"（2）.
