| Under the diversified social background,people’s life and work are changing all the time,which makes everyone’s development full of various uncertainties.High school students are in the primary and critical stage of career exploration.This study explores the status quo of parental autonomy support and career adaptation,analyzes the chain mediating effect of achievement motivation and proactive personality between them,and puts forward practical education suggestions to help high school students improve career adaptation.In this study,713 senior high school students in Heilongjiang province were investigated by using Parental Autonomy Support Scale,Achievement Motivation Scale,Proactive Personality Scale and Career Adaptation Scale.The research results are as follows:1.The career adaptability of senior high school students is above the average level,and the career confidence is the best;Female students are significantly better than male students in the dimension of career concern.The career concern 、 curiosity and adaptability of urban students are significantly better than those of rural students.The dimensions of career adaptation,career control,career curiosity and career confidence of only children are significantly better than those of non-only children.The career concern of grade 2 students is significantly better than that of grade 1 and grade 3students,and the career curiosity of grade 2 students is significantly better than that of grade 1 students.2.From the perspective of gender,only child,place of origin and grade,the parental autonomy support of senior high school students is above the average level,and the parental autonomy support of only children is significantly better than that of non-only children.High school students’ achievement motivation is at a lower level.Boys’ achievement motivation and pursuit of success are significantly higher than girls’,while girls’ score of failure avoidance dimension is significantly higher than boys’.The proactive personality of high school students is at a higher level,the level of male students is significantly higher than that of female students,and the level of urban students is significantly higher than that of rural students.3.Correlation analysis shows that parental autonomy support is significantly positively correlated with achievement motivation,proactive personality career adaptation and its four dimensions;Achievement motivation is positively correlated with proactive personality,career adaptability and its four dimensions.Proactive personality is significantly positively correlated with career adaptability and its four dimensions;The four dimensions of life adaptability are positively correlated.4.Parental autonomy support has a direct positive predictive effect on achie vement motivation,proactive personality,career adaptation and its four dimensions;Achievement motivation positively predicted proactive personality,career curiosityand career confidence.Proactive personality has a significant positive predictive e ffect on career adaptability and its four dimensions.5.Parental autonomy support can predict the four dimensions of career adaptability through the chain mediation of achievement motivation and proactive personality. |
