The developmental characteristics of modern basketball games have clarified the "core" status of the guards on the field of play.As the core of the entire team and the commander of the team’s tactics,the level of the core guard directly affects the level of the team.The modern basketball game requires the core guard to have both excellent physical fitness and skilled technology.Therefore,it is necessary to cultivate outstanding physical fitness,comprehensive technology,outstanding organization and assisting ability,rich game experience,and can drive and organize the whole team to deal with various complexities.A comprehensive core defender of the situation is imperative.At present,there are few studies on the attacking technical characteristics of the core defenders.This paper attempts to analyze the characteristics of the world’s top core guards’ offensive techniques through the study of the offensive technical characteristics of the top eight core guards in the men’s basketball at the32 nd Olympic Games,and explore the future development trend of the world’s outstanding core guards at the level of offensive technology.It provides some theoretical basis for China to cultivate world-class core defenders,thereby further shortening the gap between my country’s basketball and the world’s top teams.This paper uses the method of literature,expert interviews,video observation,mathematical statistics and comparative analysis to study the characteristics of the offensive skills of the top eight core guards in the 32 nd Olympics men’s basketball team.The main conclusions are as follows:1.The average age of the top eight core guards in the men’s basketball competition in this Olympic Games is 28 years old,and they have entered the golden period of their sports career and have rich experience in competitions;the average height is 191-201 cm,the weight is 88.5kg,and the Quetole index is 463.2,showing that The characteristics of tall stature and strong physical resistance.Possessing good physical conditions can provide a guarantee for the defender to use technology in fierce confrontation.At the same time,the defender can better combine physical fitness with basketball skills in the game,forming a tough,simple and efficient game.2.In terms of shooting,the selected eight core guards rarely have the opportunity to catch and shoot in the game,and the most use of catch and shoot is from beyond the three-point line;dribbling shooting and driving shooting are the main shooting methods of the eight core guards,of which eight core guards made more three-point shots than two-point shots in the selection of dribbling shots;in the shooting area,the shooting areas of the eight core guards were mainly concentrated in the restricted area and the top area of the three-point line.,reflecting that breakthroughs and three-point shooting are the main offensive methods in the game after the core,and also reflects the offensive technical characteristics of the eight core guards who can shoot well in the game.3.In terms of breakthroughs,the eight core guards studied have more breakthroughs in total and have a higher success rate;the eight core guards use more dribbling breakthrough techniques,less use of in-situ ball-holding breakthrough techniques,and in-situ ball-holding breakthrough techniques.Mainly cross-step breakthroughs,dribbling breakthroughs are mainly dribbling direction breakthroughs and crotch dribbling breakthroughs;the starting area of the eight core defenders’ breakthroughs is mainly in the high-position middle area,and the number of low-position breakthroughs is less;The choice is mainly to cover the breakthrough.4.In terms of passing,the passing techniques of the eight core guards are rich and varied.Among them,the two-handed chest pass and the two-handed overhead pass are the main passing methods of the core guards in the game,and they are widely used;It is rarely used in the game;in the passing under different physical conditions,the eight core guards mainly pass the ball in place,which can effectively ensure the safe transfer of the ball during the game.Less but with a certain aggressiveness;the eight core guards have a wide passing area and a large range of movement,mainly passing the ball in long-distance areas;the eight players have a high assist-to-turnover ratio,which further proves their passing skills from the side Superb passing stability.
