Families pay more and more attention to higher education,especially to the choice of majors.Normal majors have certain particularities,and family capital plays an important role in the selection of teacher-training majors.By analyzing the selection of normal majors from the perspective of family capital theory.On the one hand,this paper combine the family capital theory with the selection of normal majors to enrich the relevant research.On the other hand,they can reduce the negative impact of family capital in the process of normal specialty selection,help students form a correct cognition of specialty selection in the process of specialty selection,so that they can learn better in the follow-up,find better students for normal specialty,promote the development of normal selection and improve the quality of normal education.Therefore,this paper taking family capital as the theoretical basis,using the methods of literature research,questionnaire and interview,makes a retrospective investigation and research on the major selection of normal students in three public universities,try to analyzes the role and reasons of family capital on the major selection of normal students,and puts forward the corresponding optimization strategies.First of all,through a survey of teachers majoring in three public colleges and universities,to understand the situation of the choice of normal majors from the perspective of family capital.It is found that the negative effect is particularly profound.For example,family economic capital leads to a utilitarian tendency in the choice of normal majors,family cultural capital creates a mindset for the choice of normal majors,and family social capital brings about the consolidation of intergenerational differences in the choice of normal majors.Secondly,from the perspective of family capital theory,this paper analyzes the causes of its effects,especially the negative effects.For example,the restriction of family economic capital structure on professional choice;the restriction of family cultural capital heterogeneity on professional choice;the intervention of family social capital source on professional choice.Finally,combined with the analysis of the above situation,some optimization strategies are put forward: increase the investment in teacher education to reduce the family’s economic burden;pay attention to the accumulation of education and culture,and focus on the construction of family culture;cultivate the ability of information literacy and coordinate family and social relations.This study is mainly based on the perspective of family capital theory to study the selection of normal majors.It is found that family capital has a positive negative effect on the selection of normal majors.This analysis is expected to provide reference significance for the selection and development of normal majors and the development of normal education,and play a role in attracting jade for follow-up research.
