| With the sustained development of China’s economy and the increasingly popular culture of charitable donation,the important position of social donation as the source of school running funds of China’s universities,especially first-class universities,is rising,becoming the main part of China’s University income after financial allocation and tuition fees.However,due to its late start,internationally,the ability of Chinese universities to obtain social donations is far lower than that of universities in western developed countries such as the United States.In China,there is also a large gap in social donation between universities.Therefore,based on the perspective of differences,this paper studies the inter school differences and influencing factors of social donation of China’s first-class universities,and puts forward countermeasures and suggestions,aiming to narrow the inter school gap of social donation of China’s universities,improve the overall donation strength of universities,and promote them to form a good atmosphere of social donation of universities,Let social donation really become a major channel for the source of university education funds in China,so as to promote the sustainable and healthy development of higher education and further improve China’s national income distribution and social welfare level.Firstly,starting from the development process of university social donation and taking the founding of new China as the time node,this paper expounds the development of social donation of China’s first-class universities before and after the founding of new China from three aspects: government laws and policies,social culture and donation organizations.Then,taking the average value of three-year social donations received by each school as the object of explanation,starting from the domestic donation,overseas donation,large donation and total amount,calculate its Gini coefficient and Parma ratio,and explain in detail that the inter school gap of social donation of China’s first-class universities is wide and there is room for progress,According to the above research results,this paper discusses the reasons of universities and their education foundations.Then,based on the above discussion and on the basis of relevant theories and literature research,this paper constructs the influencing factor model of inter school differences in social donations of first-class universities by using multiple regression analysis,analyzes its 11 influencing factors from the two aspects of universities and their education foundations,and comes to the conclusion that universities’ institutional satisfaction,international influence and school running quality,There are 9 factors that have a significant impact on the scale of the University,the number of full-time supervisors,and the quality of the fund’s business development.Finally,according to the above empirical research results,this paper puts forward seven targeted suggestions to promote the development of university social donation in China. |
