| American scholar Jack booth and others believe that cooperative learning is a value and the most important principle of cooperative learning.In other words,cooperative learning is not only a way of learning,but also an attitude towards life and a content of learning.Cooperative learning advocates taking students as the main body and emphasizes achieving cammon goals through mutual cooperation among group members.Because of its remarkable effects in improving classroom teaching atmosphere,improving students’ academic performance on a large scale and promoting the good development of students’ non intellectual quality,it has attracted extensive attention all over the world.In the context of globalization,cooperative learning will be a necessary skill and life attitude for people to survive.The outline of basic education curriculum reform(Trial)issued in 2001 clearly puts forward that cooperative learning should be one of the main learning methods of Chinese students.The curriculum reform of basic education has been implemented for more than 20 years.How is cooperative learning carried out?What results have been achieved?What difficulties exist?According to the existing research,the exploration of these problems needs to be deepened.Using the methods of observation and interview,this study takes three classes in grades 4 and 6 of Y primary school in Urumqi as the research object,describes the real state of students’ cooperative learning,explores the problems existing in the process of cooperative learning,analyzes the factors affecting the effect of cooperative learning,and tries to put forward the path to solve the problems.This study is divided into five parts:the first part is the introduction,induding the question,research purpose and significance,research basis,literature review and research design.he second part is teachers’ vision of cooperative learning.Teachers hope to help students develp in four aspects:individual responsibility,academic achievement,ability improvement and interpersonal communication.The third part is the results of cooperative learning in Y primary school.In the process of cooperative learning,teachers’ teaching "practical" thinking slows down and students’ cooperative literacy continues to improve.The fourth part is the problem analysis of Y primary school students’ cooperative learning he fifth part is reflection and suggestions,analyzes the factors affecting the effect of cooperative learning,and puts forward the path to solve the problem.It is found that through the implementation of cooperative learning,teachers are closer to students,teachers are more and more willing to give students time to fully express and respect the differences between students;Students have overcome the thought of eager for quick success and instant benefit,and their cooperative quality has been continuously improved.However,in the implementation process of cooperative learnin,there are some problems,such as improper grouping,unbalanced student participation,free riding and going through the motions.The main factors affecting the effect of cooperative learning are teachers’ one-sided understanding of cooperative learning,improper operation in the implementation of cooperative learning and so on.Therefore,establishing the correct concept of teachers’ cooperative learning,improving teachers’ ability to implement cooperative learning and creating a good atmosphere for students’ cooperative learning are the basic guarantee for the effective development of cooperative learning. |
