In recent years, although the physical health of teenagers in China has improved slightly, the overall level is still declining, and the health of teenagers is increasingly threatened by insufficient physical activity. This study took some middle school students in Zhengzhou city as the research object, investigated the characteristics of their physical activity and analyzed the factors affecting physical activity,in order to provide scientific and reasonable suggestions for teenagers physical activity,so as to promote teenagers physical activity to improve physical health. In the early stage of the writing of this research USES the literature material method query theoretical basis, data acquisition adopts questionnaire survey,by stratified random sampling method to extract six middle school of zhengzhou, with six district of zhengzhou city hierarchy, each area is randomly selected from a middle school,in the middle school students of six schools selected as investigation object, every school survey,240 people a total of 1440 people. The data are analyzed by using mathematical statistics. The research conclusions are as follows:(1)The frequency of heavy intensity physical activity was 5.26 times per week for adolescents,5.73 times for males and 4.75 times for females. The maximum frequency of heavy intensity physical activity in grade 9 was 6.18 times, and the minimum frequency of heavy intensity physical activity in grade 10 was 4.93 times. There was a significant difference in the frequency of physical activity between different genders and different grades(P < 0.01).(2)In terms of time, the adolescents’ time of heavy intensity physical activity was 55.91 minutes per day.The time of heavy intensity physical activity of different genders was higher in males than females(57.73 minutes for males and 53.93 minutes for females),and there was a very significant difference between them(P < 0.01).The maximum intensity of physical activity was 64.53 minutes in grade 7 and 48.51 minutes in grade 12,and there was a significant difference among different grades(P < 0.01).Only 7,8,9 met the recommended level of physical activity, moderate intensity physical activity one hour a day.In terms of different activities, men prefer more competitive events.Women,on the other hand, prefer sports that are less confrontational and more relaxing.(3)Students with BMI in the normal range were more physically active than obese and overweight students. The students whose sleep time was in the normal range were more physically active than those whose sleep time was short.Students with longer resting time spent less time in high intensity physical activity than those with less resting time. The students with long time of medium and high intensity physical activity had better eyesight than those with short time of medium and high intensity physical activity.(4)Family factors also lead to different physical activity conditions.Students with fitness equipment at home, family sports activities with their families, many friends nearby to play sports with me,and indoor gym around their families spend more time in intensive physical activity than other students.Watching TV or playing video games with family members had no effect on the amount of time spent with moderate intensity physical activity.(5)In school factors, students who participate in clubs and are good at sports activities are more physically active than other students. As the number of times of exercise increases,so does the amount of time for vigorous physical activity. With the increase of pressure, the time of heavy intensity physical activity decreased. The increase in the number of exercises between classes will promote the time of moderate intensity physical activity.
