In recent years, online dramas continue to be popular, and more and more online dramas gradually enter the life of college students and become an inseparable part of their daily life.Different watching behaviors of online dramas and traditional TV dramas also have different effects on the subjective well-being of college students. This study takes college students who watch online dramas as the research object and focuses on the influence of the watching degree of online dramas on subjective well-being.Based on a survey of 580 college students across the country, the study found that college students still watch online dramas for a long time and with a high frequency. In addition, there is a positive correlation between family annual income and life satisfaction, but no correlation between positive and negative emotional balance. The same is true of monthly expenditure. The degree of watching online dramas has a positive effect on subjective well-being and positive and negative emotional balance, but has no correlation with life satisfaction. The role of social interaction behavior is highlighted in college students’ watching of online dramas. In particular, male college students and undergraduates of other parties showed more social interaction behaviors when watching online dramas. The degree of online drama watching is positively correlated with social interaction behavior, while social interaction behavior is also positively correlated with subjective happiness, life satisfaction, and positive and negative emotional balance. The research confirmed that social interaction behavior can significantly positively regulate the relationship between viewing degree and subjective well-being,life satisfaction, and positive and negative emotional balance.
