Textbook is an important tool for teachers to conduct classroom teaching and students to acquire knowledge,which plays an important role in curriculum reform.In recent years,the comparison of mathematics teaching materials at home and abroad is in full swing,but the comparative research on the application of information technology in mathematics teaching materials is relatively few.By comparing the high school mathematics textbooks and the application of information technology in classroom teaching in China and Japan,this study aims to provide suggestions and enlightenment for the compilation of textbooks and the classroom teaching of mathematics teachers.So this article selects the typical high school mathematics textbooks between the two countries as the research object,the research questions are:How about the application of information technology in high school mathematics textbooks in China and Japan?How well are these information technologies used in the real math classroom?Through the information technology"using type,topic,presentation,application part and application purpose" to establish framework,collecting the statistics of the application of information technology in the textbooks.On the basis of statistics of information technology in high school mathematics textbooks,we use the quantitative and the qualitative analysis research approach to analysis this article.This paper adopt the approach of literature research,comparative research,theoretical research,the method of questionnaire and interview to comparative Chinese and Japanese high school mathematics textbooks.Through the comparing of foreign outstanding high school mathematics textbooks,we can take its essence and abandon its disadvantages for the future of our country high school mathematics textbooks and give some good advice for redacting our textbooks.The study shows that there are some differences in the processing of information technology between Chinese and Japanese mathematics textbooks.In China’s A Edition textbooks,the highest proportion of using type of information technology are scientific calculator and dynamic geometry software.Much more information technology is used in function and algebraic application topics.In terms of the presentation of information technology,the highest proportion is to be incorporated into the text,and the proportion of adding marginal notes and setting columns is not high.Information technology has been fully applied in the two application parts of consolidation practice and new knowledge presentation.In terms of the application purpose of information technology,the highest proportion is data calculation.In the high school mathematics textbooks published by Nippon Statistics Research Institute,computers are used the most,followed by software.The proportion of information technology in algebraic and geometric knowledge is much higher than that in China.It is the same with our country in the way of presenting information technology,which is to be incorporated into the text.In the aspect of application,information technology takes the highest proportion in the presentation of new knowledge.Finally,in the application purpose of information technology,the highest proportion is visualization.By the students’ and teachers’ questionnaire and interview survey found that there are some differences in the the using of information technology between two countries.In the Chinese high school mathematics classroom,the proportion of application of information technology is much higher than that of Japan.In addition,the five high school math teachers interviewed all believe that it is very necessary to apply information technology in high school math teaching.In terms of the using type of information technology,the mathematics software most commonly used by teachers in China is geometry sketchboard,and Geogebra software has not been popularized yet.The enlightenment from this study is as follows:(1)In the future,the compilation of mathematics textbooks can add some QR codes in the textbooks,such as functions,so that students can scan the QR codes after class to watch the evolution process of functions,so as to master mathematics knowledge skillfully;(2)In the future,the compilation of mathematics textbooks can appropriately enhance the application of information technology in the subject of algebra and geometric number application;(3)In classroom teaching,teachers should encourage students to use information technology to learn mathematics knowledge by themselves.
