| As Chinese society has entered a new era,Chinese tourism industry has emerged new development.This has a new requirement for tourism talents.The goal of Tourism Major in the middle vocational schools is to train high-quality workers and skilled talents for tourism industry.However,in the current teaching,there are still some problems such as negative learning attitudes of students,disappointed teaching results,unbalanced teacher-student relationship in the classroom,and dominant traditional teaching methods,etc.To solve the current problems in vocational education,our country has introduced a series of documents and policies,emphasizing the reform of vocational education and optimizing the education environment.Scaffolding teaching take learners as the center,focus on the improvement of students’ autonomous learning ability and practical ability,and is suitable for vocational education.The course Tour Guide Practice a professional skill course for cultivating tour guide talents.This research attempts to apply scaffolding teaching to the course Tour Guide Practice in secondary vocational schools to explore whether it can improve student’s learning effect and learning initiative.Firstly,This study utilizes the literature analysis method to deeply understand the research status at home and abroad of scaffolding teaching and establish the theoretical basis of the research.Secondly,questionnaire survey and interview method were used to investigate the students and teachers of tourism major in a secondary vocational school,and analyze the current teaching situation of the course Tour Guide Practice.Therefore,the author conduct the research for one term in two classes.The teaching design is carried out according to the five links of scaffolding teaching.The experimental class use scaffolding teaching and the control class use traditional teaching method.After the teaching experiment,the teacher uses tests,questionnaire surveys and interviews to analyze the teaching effect and point out the deficiencies and suggestions for improvement in the application of scaffolding teaching.This research mainly draws the following conclusions:(1)The use of scaffolding teaching in the course Tour Guide Practice can effectively improve academic study and enhance the teaching effect;scaffolding teaching has different effects on theoretical learning and practical skill learning;scaffolding teaching is conducive to autonomous learning,but it is affected by the students’ own abilities;scaffolding teaching can improve the teacher-student relationship in the classroom,but it needs to grasp the scale.(2)The use of scaffolding in the course Tour Guide Practice can stimulate student’s learning enthusiasm,increase learning interest;scaffolding teaching helps to improve students’ learning attitude and increase participation;and there are individual differences in the guiding role of scaffolding teaching for students.The innovation of this research: Scaffolding teaching in vocational education is mostly used in subjects such as English and mathematics,and there are few related researches on the application of scaffolding teaching in tourism teaching.This research applies scaffolding teaching to tourism teaching in secondary vocational schools and explores the influence of scaffolding teaching on curriculum teaching,which proves the influence of scaffolding teaching on the learning effect and motivation of secondary vocational students. |
