| Labor education is an important part of children’s all-round development.Preschool education stage is the key period for children to form labor concepts and labor behaviors.Children’s cognition of labor is directly related to how they treat labor and laborers. In order to explore children’s cognition of labor processes and labor results, this study adopts simple random sampling method and selects 240 children aged 3-5 from two kindergartens as the research objects.By creating different labor situations,we studied their cognition of labor processes, labor results and its internal mechanism under the conditions of in-group and out-group.In the first study, the labor situations were created under in-group conditions, and in the second study, the labor situations were created under out-group conditions. The selection tendency and explanatory answers of children were collected and collated to explore the developmental characteristics and influencing mechanism of 3-5 years old children’s labor cognition. The results show that:(1)There are significant differences in 3-5 years old children’s cognition of labor processes and labor results under the conditions of internal and external groups. When children were assigned to in-group and out-group groups, they tended to assign more stickers to in-group groups and were able to give reasonable reasons for the assignment. When children assign two out-group groups, they are not affected by group factors, which can better reflect children’s cognitive level.(2)Three-year-old children’s distributive behavior is more likely to be affected by group preference. With the increase of age and the improvement of labor cognition level, the influence of in-group on4-year-old and 5-year-old children gradually decreases.(3)In the internal and external group conditions, children tended to assign more stickers to the group with good labor results in the same situation; In the same scenario, the children tended to assign more stickers to the group that had done the work conscientiously.(4)Children aged 3 and 4 were willing to assign more stickers to the group with good labor results when the labor processes and the labor results were in conflict. As they got older, the 5-year-olds tended to assign more stickers to the group that performed the work conscientiously.According to the above research results, this study puts forward specific educational suggestions from three aspects: deepening the purpose of children’s labor education, enriching the content of children’s labor education and innovating the methods of children’s labor education. |
