Higher education reform is an important part of the "14th Five-Year Plan" of universities.With the continuous advancement of the modernization of university governance system and governance ability,the relationship between colleges and universities and the allocation of resources between colleges and departments have always been the focus of comprehensive reform of higher education.At present,scholars at home and abroad have made many explorations in the field of higher education,but looking at the existing theoretical and practical research,they mostly focus on the governance of colleges and universities or colleges from a macro and meso perspective,while there are few empirical studies on the internal governance structure of colleges,especially the internal power operation mechanism of secondary colleges is not perfect,and the absence of teachers and students participating in the governance of colleges still exists,These problems also affect the effectiveness of College Governance.Therefore,studying and improving the governance structure of secondary colleges and actively exploring the reform and development path of school governance play an important role in improving the connotative development of research universities.In view of the above problems,this study takes the "goal-subject-behavior" as the analysis framework,focuses on the case study of T University,and analyzes the current situation and causes of the governance structure of secondary colleges of research universities in China.Firstly,according to the development context of higher education,sort out the research results of university governance at home and abroad,and refine the experience of university governance of foreign research universities;Secondly,base on governance theory and stakeholder theory as the guiding theory,combined with the actual situation of the governance of research universities and colleges in China,this paper analyzes its appropriateness;At the same time,it clarifies the historical context of the development of higher education and research universities,and has a clear understanding of the governance structure characteristics of research universities and secondary colleges;Then,using the methods of interview,questionnaire and case analysis,this paper explores the current situation,problems and reasons of internal governance of the secondary college of T University from the aspects of resource allocation,internal power operation mechanism of the college,participation of teachers and students in the governance dilemma of the college etc.;Finally,under the framework of governance theory and stakeholder theory,combined with the governance experience of foreign first-class universities and the analysis of domestic cases,this paper puts forward measures to optimize the governance structure of secondary colleges of research universities in China from the vertical level and the internal horizontal level of colleges.At the school level,building a reasonable institutional system,strengthening the communication mechanism between colleges and universities and the macro management mechanism of colleges to promote the modernization of university governance;At the college level,we should improve the cooperative participation mechanism of multiple subjects,build a perfect democratic environment,and enhance the power subject consciousness of teachers and students. |
