A Longitudinal Comparative Study On The Effect Of Chinese Women’s Volleyball Team’s Middle Blocker Technique And Tactics Before And After Lang Ping’s Coaching

Chinese women’s volleyball team has always played an important role in the world women’s Volleyball World.From winning the third place at home in the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games to falling to the bottom of the 2010 World Championships,Lang Ping guided the Chinese women’s volleyball team again in 2013 until the 2015 World Cup and the 2016 Rio Olympic Games regained the top of the world and won the world cup in 2019.Volleyball as a team event,when the players in each position show a high technical level,it is relatively easy to win the game,but when a position is obviously at a disadvantage,the game will fall into passivity.In terms of the current competitive level of the Chinese women’s volleyball team’s middle blocker,although they have good strength,there is still a little gap from the world’s top middle blocker.Therefore,by using the methods of literature,video observation and mathematical statistics,and taking the Chinese women’s volleyball team’s middle blocker from 2007 to 2019 as the observation object,this paper makes a longitudinal comparative analysis on the application effect of the techniques and tactics of the Chinese women’s volleyball team’s middle blocker before and after Lang Ping’s teaching,in order to provide valuable suggestions for the training and development of the Chinese women’s volleyball team’s middle blocker in the future.The main conclusions are as follows(1)Non technical factors.After Lang Ping took charge,the average height of the middle blocker selected by Lang Ping increased by 1.23 cm,which is also more reasonable in the age selection of the players.However,the average spike height and average block height decreased by 1.13 cm and 3.45 cm respectively,and the average block height of the players after Lang Ping’s coaching was significantly lower than the average spike height.(2)Technical aspects.After Lang Ping took charge of the service,the service scoring rate of the middle blocker of the Chinese women’s volleyball team increased by 0.08%,but there is still a gap from the service scoring rate of the world’s top middle blocker.In addition,the service error rate of the middle blocker of the Chinese women’s volleyball team increased by1.18%;In spiking,the spiking scoring rate of the Chinese women’s volleyball team’s middle blocker can maintain 50% before Lang Ping’s coaching.After Lang Ping’s coaching,the spiking scoring rate of the Chinese women’s volleyball team’s middle blocker has increased by 2.92%.In addition,after Lang Ping took charge,the spiking error rate of the middle blocker of the Chinese women’s volleyball team decreased significantly by 3.51%;Blocking:after Lang Ping took charge,the scoring rate of Chinese women’s volleyball team’s middle blocker in blocking increased significantly by 3.14%,and the blocking error rate decreased by3.13%;The average value of comprehensive blocking score rate and effective support rate can reach 71.26%.The middle blocker of Chinese women’s volleyball team are ideal in limiting the opponent’s attack success rate.(3)Tactical.Before Lang Ping coached the Chinese women’s volleyball team,the use of various tactics was unbalanced.For example,the use rate of fast tactics was too low,16.76%in the 2011 World Cup and 16.6% in the 2012 Olympic Games;The use rate of back flying tactics is too high,51.79% in the 2010 World Championships and 46.7% in the 2011 World Cup.After Lang Ping coached,the middle blocker of the Chinese women’s volleyball team used more balanced tactics and maintained a considerable scoring rate.The scoring rate of the front fastball was 52.71%,the scoring rate of the back fastball was 49.21%,the scoring rate of the short flat fastball was 58.93%,and the scoring rate of the back flying ball was 53.97%.(4)Through the correlation analysis,after Lang Ping coached,there were 8 indexes in the correlation test between the 15 indexes of the Chinese women’s volleyball team’s middle blocker and the game results,which had a positive impact on the victory.The correlation of the 8 indexes from large to small was: spiking error rate,spiking score rate,blocking score rate,height,blocking error rate,weight,blocking support rate and service efficiency.It shows that Lang Ping’s coaching can promote the middle blocker of Chinese women’s volleyball team.
