Establishing a high-level teaching staff is the key to improving the quality of education,and the improvement of the teaching level of teacher education must pursue the internal and active professional development of teachers,which requires teachers to have a high level of professional identity.At present,male full-time teachers in kindergartens in my country only account for 2.2%,and the overall number is small and the group size is small.The reason is that male teachers and potential male teachers do not agree with the profession of kindergarten teachers,but the researchers found in practice that there are male teachers who highly agree with the profession of kindergarten teachers,and they choose kindergarten without hesitation after graduation,so as to be active and full.Be enthusiastic about work,actively solve problems at work,have patience with each child,etc.Why can he do this when most boys choose to enter or leave kindergarten,and what affects his professional identity?This study takes a novice male teacher as the research object,adopts the narrative research method,and conducts research from four dimensions: professional values,role values,professional belonging,and professional behavior tendency,and explores the factors that affect professional identity.Educational narrative is a research method that depicts educational behavior,constructs meaning and obtains interpretive meaning understanding through educational subject’s story narration.Express understanding and interpretation of education through storytelling.It does not directly define what education is or how education should be done,it just tells readers one or more educational stories,allowing readers to experience what education is or how it should be done from the stories.Through research,it is found that Mr.Xie has a high level of professional identity,which is embodied in positive attitude towards work,full of pride in the profession of kindergarten teachers,and understanding of the value and responsibility of his profession.Through the analysis of teacher Xiao Xie’s experience before and after her entry,it is found that her high level of professional identity is affected by factors such as interest,gender concept,educational experience,personal needs,love for children,the environment of the kindergarten,and family support.Recommendations are therefore made for kindergartens,colleges and future male teachers.
