With the stable development of our country’s economy,people’s living standards have undergone earth shaking changes,and the public’s educational needs are increasing.In addition,with the support of national policies,the development of education industry is in full swing,and the number of educational enterprises continues to increasing.In order to seek better development,many educational enterprises need to expand their scales,thus generating financing needs.Previously,due to the restrictions of policies and industry characteristics,educational enterprises can only be listed through backdoor,quasi-backdoor,business transformation,etc.However,with the revision of《Non-governmental Education Promotion Law》,the financing channels of educational enterprises have been broadened,and educational enterprises can be listed on A shares through.In recent years,financial fraud occurs frequently,which is more or less related to audit failures.Although there have been no cases of fraudulent listing of educational enterprises,the education industry has been affected by the epidemic,the online business has developed rapidly,and the business model and business characteristics of the industry have undergone significant changes.The audit risk of educational enterprises has increased,so we need to focus on the audit work of such enterprises.Based on the basic situation of educational enterprises,this thesis firstly defines the key contents of audit of educational enterprises,and analyzes the causes of audit risks of educational enterprises from the perspectives of external environment,internal environment of enterprises,accounting firms;Then take C company in the field of vocational education as the case study object to specifically analyze the major misstatement riskssuch as business risks,internal control risks,revenue recognition risks,cost recognition risk and R&D expenses recognition risks of C company,as well as the inspection risk such as audit procedure implementation risks and professional ethics risks;Then,according to the risks identified by the analysis,the risk level of material misstatement of C company is evaluated by the combination of analytic hierarchy process and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method,so as to confirm the acceptable inspection risk level;Finally,combined with the overall analysis of the industry and the specific analysis of C company,this thesis puts forward measures such as doing a good job in financial due diligence,carefully evaluating the ability of going concern,evaluating the effectiveness of internal control,giving full play to the role of financial norms and guidance,improving the audit procedures of key contents,making full use of big data audit,paying attention to the cultivation of professional competence and enhancing the professional ethics level of auditors.This thesis holds that although the double reduction policy limits the listing qualification of discipline education enterprises,educational enterprises still have the needs of audit in the future.The nature of retail,heavy labor costs,product homogeneity,online education model and other industry commonalities are the main factors contributing to the audit risk of educational enterprises.The audit risk of C company has industry commonalities.In the audit of the company,revenue recognition is a high-risk field that needs to be focused on.To deal with the audit risk of educational enterprises,we need to strengthen industry understanding and make good use of big data audit technology.
