Study On Prevention Of Child Abuse By Kindergarten Teachers In Fuling District Of Chongqing City

The healthy growth of children is vital to thousands of families,the future of the country and the nation.The behavior of child abuse by kindergarten teachers causes the unease of children’s families and social instability.Therefore,the research of the prevention of child abuse by kindergarten teachers is of great practical meaning.This paper adopts the relevant theory of new public management and public product,using research methods such as literature analysis,case studies and survey investigation.Taking Fuling District of Chongqing as the research sample area,first hand data has been obtained through questionnaire survey and on-spot interviews.Based on the consolidated data obtained from questionnaire survey and interviews,this paper analyses the present situation of prevention of child abuse by kindergarten teachers,and identifies certain problems such as imperfect legal system,low operability that are caused by various reasons:from the perspective of government,the insufficient attention given to these problems,measures not being sufficiently targeted at these problems,lack of funding and punishing measures;from the perspective of kindergartens,the admission system of kindergarten teachers not being fully implemented,lack of education and government on kindergarten teachers,lack of management facilities;from the perspective of kindergarten teachers,level of knowledge being relatively low,lack of professional ethics and training.Learned from the experience of the prevention of child abuse in the United Kingdom and Japan,this paper puts forwards suggestions from the following aspects:the state should establish complete supporting legal systems as well as supervision system prevention mechanism in relation to child abuse by kindergarten teachers,the government should invest more in relation to pre-school education,enhance the quality of pre-school teachers and improve the management of kindergartens.This paper aims to serve as reference to the prevention of child abuse by kindergarten teachers in Fuling District of Chongqing City.
