The salary system for teachers in compulsory education schools has been established on the basis of many reforms,From the wage system to the wage classification system in the early stage of national construction,and then from the structural wage system to the professional and technical post grading wage system After the reform and opening up,it is of great significance to establish the wage system and implement it to improve the enthusiasm of teachers and promote their professionalization The development of teachers,guarantee schools’ autonomy in running schools,and further stimulate school vigor.This study by using questionnaire and interview research method of combining,10 primary schools in Y city as samples,to teacher performance salary system implementation present situation has carried on the thorough research,found that elementary school implementing performance salary system to a certain extent,inspired the teachers’ work enthusiasm,promote the school set up performance appraisal system,However,there are also some problems,such as unscientific design of performance appraisal scheme,unstandardized distribution procedure of performance pay,and the effect of performance pay incentive need to be improved.These problems are mainly due to the lack of understanding of performance management,the unsound democratic management mechanism of schools,the relative lack of school autonomy and the culture of "inequality rather than scarcity".We will further develop the wage system,schools should understand performance management scientifically,improve teachers’ performance evaluation methods,We will improve the linkage mechanism of performance appraisal and the mechanism of democratic participation,We will establish a multi-objective evaluation system and a steering committee for work allocation,strengthen the supervision of school teachers’ performance;improve teachers’ awareness of the right to participate in management;The government should further transform its functions and expand the autonomy of schools.
