| Socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era.The new era has put forward new requirements and point out new directions for ideological and political work in colleges.Counsellors are the main undertakers of ideological and political work in colleges,and are also given new missions.The new mission in the new era puts forward new responsibilities and new tasks for the work of counsellors in colleges,which requires continuous improvement of the competency level of counsellors,explors cultivation and promotion path of college cousellor competency,and builds a high-level team of counsellors to improve the guidance and effectiveness of ideological and political work.This paper uses text analysis method,literature research method,key words refinement of excellent counsellors’ deeds,Delphi expert group discussion method,questionnaire survey method and other research methods,and through the use of SPSS22.0data analysis software,carries out the new era college counselor competency vocabulary questionnaire survey,studies the counsellors’ competency,and constructs a college counselor competency model that keeps pace with the times.The results show that the model is composed of 5 dimensions: political literacy,knowledge literacy,ability literacy,moral literacy and personality characteristics,and 36 items of competencies.Compared with the previous models,eight new competencies have been added,namely,“political sensitivity”,“big data ability”,“network education ability”,“information search power”,“communication power”,“strategic thinking ability”,“international vision” and "cross-cultural sensitivity".Based on this,this paper develops college counsellor competency content questionnaire survey and competency scale.Through the use of scales for empirical research,completes the analysis of the current situation of the college counselors competency,and proposes the training and promotion countermeasures of the personal competency level of college counselors. |
