| In recent years,the mental health of primary school students has gradually received more and more attention from the country,society,and schools.As the main way of students to participate in sports activities,content and forms of physical education are gradually diversifying.The educated students can improve the psychological quality through physical exercise.As a newly emerging sport,ground golf has simple movements,uncomplicated rules,and easy-to-learned techniques,making it very suitable for elementary school students to participate.School teaching practice has also proved that golf courses are very popular among students.Does the development of this sport on campus promote the mental health of primary school students? This research investigates the effects of ground golf on the students’ mental health by conducting a 16-week physical training,and test mental health before and after training.In this paper,literature research method,mathematical statistics method,experimental method,and questionnaire survey method were main methods.180 students of the fifth grade in Qiyang Primary School in Linyi City are randomly selected as research subjects,then they are randomly divided into experimental group and control group for 16 weeks physical training: the experimental group was taught ground golf,and the control group was taught the school physical education curriculum formulated by the education administrative department.Before and after the physical training,mental health of 180 students was test through the Mental Health Rating Scale for Primary School Students(MHRSP),then we using repeated measures analysis of variance to analyze the measured data.Research result:Study 1: After a 16-week teaching experiment,the experimental group was compared with learning disability(P=0.004),social adjustment disorder(P=0.014),mood disorder(P=0.006),personality disorder(P=0.03),Behavioral disorders(P<0.001),special disorders(P<0.001)and total mental health score dimensions(P<0.001);in the control group before and after the experiment,only bad habits(P<0.014)and behavioral disorders(P=0.017)And special obstacles(P=0.017),indicating that ground golf can effectively improve the mental health of primary school students.Before the experiment,the experimental group and the control group except for behavioral obstacles(P=0.041),special obstacles(P=0.01),and the remaining P values are greater than 0.05;after the experiment,the experimental group and the control group have learning disabilities(P<0.004),Social adjustment disorder(P=0.014),mood disorder(P=0.006),personality disorder(P=0.03),behavior disorder(P<0.001),special disorder(P<0.001),and mental health total score dimensions(P<0.001)),indicating that the golf intervention on the field has a significant effect.Study 2: Primary school students of different genders have learning disabilities,emotional disorders,personality defects,social adaptation disorders,moral defects,bad habits,behavior disorders,and total scores in time × gender,group × gender,time ×group ×gender.The P value is greater than 0.05,so,there is no significant difference in the level of mental health of primary school students through ground golf;whether the only child has learning disabilities,emotional disorders,personality defects,social adaptation disorders,moral defects,bad habits,and behaviors Obstacles,and total scores in time × whether the only child,group × whether the only child,time × group× whether the only child,the P value is greater than 0.05,that is,ground golf on the mental health of primary school students is not single-child Significant differences.Analysis conclusion:(1)After 16 weeks of experiment,the mental health of the experimental group pupils has improved,while the control group’s mental health has not changed significantly.(2)Ground golf can improve the mental health of primary school students and alleviate their learning obstacles,social adjustment obstacles,emotional obstacles,behavioral obstacles,personality obstacles,and special obstacles.It shows that ground golf contributes to the mental health of primary school students,and has a certain positive impact on the development of intelligence,the adjustment of bad emotions,the cultivation of personality psychology,the enhancement of team consciousness,the improvement of bad habits,the cultivation of good moral and psychological qualities,and the correction of bad habits..(3)Ground golf has the same effect on the mental health of pupils of different genders and whether they are only-children. |
