| In his report to the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China(CPC),General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out that China’s productive forces and people’s living standards have been significantly improved,and that China’s politics,economy,culture and education are all in the direction of development in the new era.In the new era,it is clear from this understanding that the principal contradictions of society have been transformed.There is the contradiction between unbalanced and inadequate development and the people’s ever-growing needs for a better life.As a subsystem of the society,the main contradiction of education develops and changes with the change of the main contradiction of the society,that is,the contradiction between the people’s increasing demand for high-quality education and the unbalanced and inadequate development of education.Faced with the reality of social change,rural school education has fallen into a desperate situation.So we can know that the first problem is the educational value orientation.Under the background of the new era,the research on the educational value of rural schools can not only enrich and perfect the educational value concept,but also guide the educational practice of rural schools.After more than 60 years of development,especially since the reform and opening up,remarkable changes have taken place in all aspects of Chinese society.To sum up,the level of productive forces and the living standards of the people have improved significantly.It is clear from this understanding that the principal contradictions of society have been transformed.The main contradiction of rural school education has been changed,as is known,people want to get high-quality education,but there is not balanced and sufficient education in our life.Facing the reality,when thinking about the way education should be responded to,the first thing to do is the value orientation of education.Under the background of the new era,the research on the value orientation of rural school education can not only enrich and perfect the concept of educational value,but also guide the practice of rural school education.The author sorts out the policy texts related to rural school education since the founding of the People’s Republic of China.According to the value provisions conveyed by the existing policy texts,the author thinks that the value orientation of rural school education in China has roughly experienced four stages: to consolidate the state power as the main educational value orientation,to serve the social and economic construction as the main educational value orientation,to serve the construction of the new socialist countryside as the main educational value orientation and the new era of pluralistic integration of educational value orientation.At the same time,the author randomly selected 300 rural teachers from the rural compulsory education schools in District C of Yibin City,Sichuan Province as the investigation objects,to investigate the confusion and contradiction of the current rural school education value orientation.Based on the questionnaire survey,the results were sorted out.Through the analysis of the results of the questionnaire,it is found that there are still many problems in the value orientation of the current rural school education,including the utilitarian orientation of the value of education,the insufficient service of rural school education to the rural society,and the weakening of the value of education.Based on the analysis of the internal and external factors that influence the value orientation of rural school education,it is found that the main reasons for the mismatch between the value orientation of rural school education and the development requirements of The Times are the choice conflict between the main body of rural school education value,the thinking limitation of smallholder consciousness and the reality gap between urban and rural development.Human beings are always the core and value scale of social development,rural school education should be " human " and " life-oriented " education.Rural school education with national and social significance should also fully consider the value demands of the country and rural society.Based on the summary of the problems and the analysis of the causes of the value orientation of rural school education,this paper puts forward a concrete method to construct the value orientation of rural school education under the background of the new era.To sum up,the value orientation of rural school education should return to the ontological value of rural school education,attach importance to the internal demands of national development,satisfy the practical needs of rural social development,and highlight the local characteristics in the integration of urban and rural education. |
