In the new pattern of urban-rural integration, the education reform and development of rural schools are an indispensable part. Schools undertake the duty of culture evolution and inheritance, which is related and relied with the culture in that region. However, the country local culture is no longer taken seriously under the double dual-structure. Students should have been familiar with the idyllic life which is away from their education. The city culture excludes the rural culture and takes the students from the countryside off their origin, entering" others’ world". The rural culture is shaken.Our country is a kind of society with cultural diversity. School education shoulders the responsibility of carrying forward the excellent cultures and improving the overall qualities of social groups. With the development of modernization, the peasant society is undergoing a lot of unprecedented dramatic changes. The infiltration and shock of mainstream culture make the heritage of local knowledge, step by step, back off. For rural area, the loss of traditional culture is equal to the loss of its root. School education is a process that discards the dross and assimilates the fine essence of traditional culture by way of culture selection. So, it plays an important role in the development of rural culture. School education in the advantage of the development of traditional culture states that rural traditional culture should be a significant element.The urban-rural integration requires the coordination of rural and urban, cooperation, and common development. The educational differentiation between village and city should be narrowed. It needs beneficial interactions. Rural country education need to change the development mode which tracks exactly with the city culture and take the city as the center. From the progress of country reality, it is essential that introduce rural traditional culture into education. In this case, students are able to meet the needs of social development. By way of the construction of school-based courses, the township traditional culture can find a stable, systemic transmission method and realized the selection of township culture itself.
