With the vigorous development of Internet technology for more than 20 years,it has penetrated into all areas of today’s social and economic life,affecting people’s daily work,entertainment and life.The competition between companies in various industries is becoming more and more fierce.The long-term strategic goals of companies need to quickly supplement resources to cope with the rapidly changing fierce competitive market environment.Since 2015,game companies have undergone frequent M&A activities.In this frequent M&A activities,How much can meet the performance expectations of the company’s mergers and acquisitions and promote the realization of the company’s development strategy goals? This is an urgent need to understand after the mergers and acquisitions.This thesis selects s company as the research object.In order to achieve the development strategic objectives of the enterprise,it has carried out a number of mergers and acquisitions activities in 2015 to improve the technology research and development ability,distribution ability and the development direction of enterprise pan entertainment.Through investigating whether S Mutual Entertainment’s M&A performance is good,whether it improves the company’s size and performance.Increasing the company’s market share,so as to achieve corporate strategic goals,is what this article needs to explore.Based on theoretical research,this thesis analyzes the M&A cases related to S Mutual Entertainment,combining theory and practice,and constructs a set of evaluation index system that meets the characteristics of S Mutual Entertainment enterprise.Based on the strategic objectives of S Mutual Entertainment,select S Interactive’s M&A activities from 2014 to 2018 studied the impact on performance from the four dimensions of finance,customers,internal management,and growth and learning.And according to the characteristics of the game industry in which S Interactive is located and its corporate strategic goals,the evaluation indicators are selected for these four dimensions.After collating the relevant indicator data and content materials,data comparison and analysis are conducted to analyze whether there are problems in mergers and acquisitions activities.Allowing companies to adjust in a timely manner and letting the performance of corporate mergers and acquisitions have a positive impact on corporate development will ultimately promote the realization of corporate strategic goals.Based on the balanced scorecard,this thesis analyzes and researches the M&A activities of S company from 2014 to 2018.In the research process,under the guidance of theory,according to the industry characteristics of S company,a set of M&A performance evaluations in line with S company are selected.Indicators,and targeted analysis of the meaning behind these indicator data,what is the positive or negative impact on the company’s development strategy.In the theoretical study and case analysis,this article also puts forward some suggestions on the application of the balanced scorecard in the research of M&A performance in game companies,hoping to provide some help for the success rate of game companies in future M&A activities. |
