Research On The Value Orientation And Leading Of Undergraduates’ Network Subcultural Activities

In the 1950 s,after the “postwar baby boom”,the youth subculture swept the world like a wildfire.The youth subculture changed from the expression of difference in the early stage to the resistance against class repression.And then in the era of post-subculture,the youth subculture start to seek more self-expression and identity.With the rapid development of Internet technology,blowout era of the network subculture followed.Network subculture is a culture in which subculture is transferred,derived and created in the network.It is a kind of mass culture form formed by a number of unique“minority”cultural phenomena and created by specific groups of netizens in the network space because of self-expression and reception.It has a specific cultural value system,thinking mode and activity mode.Network subculture can be regarded as internalized form and manifested as externalized form.Undergraduates who pursue discourse power are the main audiences of network subculture.The youth subculture phenomenon is gradually popular in the network world,and has become the carnival media spectacle of the youth group creating the unique cultural value system,constructing their own life style and resisting the mainstream culture.In recent years.we should pay more attention to the transformation of the past resisting styles,such as seeking to integrate with the mainstream ideology,carrying forward the excellent traditional culture and actively bridging the gap between generations.To clarify the dimension and degree of the influence of undergraduates’ value orientation in network subculture is of great significance for the cultivation of undergraduates’ socialist core values.How to avoid the young people being bound by consumerism and losing their realistic value beliefs in the virtual world is a problem that needs to be seriously considered and faced.Through sorting out the historical evolution and formation mechanism of the network subculture,this research recognizes that the network subculture is in the ideological current of post-modernism,taking the wind of the development of media technology,and under the escort of the reform of social production mode,to form a rapid development trend.Furthermore,this research tries to reveal the internal mechanism of network subculture formation by extracting interest groups,spiritual connotations and network carriers as the forming elements.At the same time,the research analyses that network subculture has important social and cultural functions.However,because there are too many blind spots in the virtual Internet,the network space is mixed,and the network subculture is intermingled with the good and the bad,so the dregs and the essence coexist.Therefore,the network subculture has the double meaning of the supplement and impact to the mainstream culture,the reflection and resistance to the traditional authority,and the enrichment and alienation of cultural life.On the basis of fully understanding of network subculture,the research attempts to explore the psychology,behavior and value orientations of undergraduates participating in network subculture activities by questionnaire survey and interview surveys.This research designed a questionnaire about undergraduates’ participation in online subcultural activities based on their actual behaviors(frequency,mode and content)and psychological participation(cognitive situation,emotional experience and volitional state);and designed a questionnaire about undergraduates’ online subcultural value orientations based on personal value,interpersonal value,virtual value and deconstructive value.This research regards S university undergraduate students as respondents,investigates present situations,tendency and value orientations of the undergraduates network subculture,carries on the summary and general descriptive statistical analysis,variance analysis,and correlation analysis,regression analysis to explore the explanatory power differences of the psychological participation in all dimensions of value tendency.The survey found that undergraduates generally spend a long time on the network activities,and the entertainment trend is obvious.Undergraduates most often participate in the network subculture activities such as“Buddhist culture”,“homosexuality culture” and “other countries culture”;they often use memes,buzzwords and brush short video forms.The basic background information of undergraduates,such as gender,grade and parents’ education level,is different in the value orientations reflected in their participation in network subcultural activities.Secondly,the virtual value orientation and interpersonal value orientation of undergraduates are more obvious when they participate in the network subcultural activities.In the network subcultural activities,undergraduates pursue more pleasant and relaxing experience in the virtual world to make up for helplessness of the unsatisfactory.In view of the above understanding,combined with the individual interview materials,regarded "diligent study","earnest practice" and "bright morality" as standard requirements of the socialist core values,in-depth excavated the deviation and the reasons of undergraduates’ network subcultural value orientations.The research believes that undergraduates in the network subculture activities show a certain degree of distortion in their study thoughts,a certain degree of contradiction in their practical character,and a certain degree of vulgarization in the concept of virtue.The reasons are as follows: the negative influence of the postmodern cultural trend of thought,the inducement of the virtual characteristics of the network subculture,the lack of self-monitoring and reflection ability,the lack of supervision of the network subculture activities,and the lag of the technology and legislation of the network subculture are all responsible for this "deviation".Finally,based on the reality of undergraduates’ network subculture value orientations,explore from improving of network subculture activities,renewing the idea of ideological and political education,think that undergraduates’ network subculture value leading should regard the socialist core values as the direction,and combine ideological education and information literacy education.Specifically,the government should strengthen comprehensive control,social media should pay more attention to active guidance and school education should strengthen ideological guidance to solve the realistic dilemma,so as to promote the ideological and moral cultivation of college students and strengthen the cultural value identification of socialist core values.
