progress of the entire human society are inseparable from the support of mental health and creativity. There have always been two opposing disputes between different researchers on the relationship between mental health and creativity. Some researchers believe that individuals with poorer mental health are more creative.Another part of the researchers believes that whether an individual ’ s mental health is the basic psychological condition that determines whether creative activities can proceed smoothly. Therefore, the better the mental health, the higher the creativity of the individual.Although previous studies have discussed a lot about the relationship between creativity and mental health, there are still some differences in current research results. In the past, intervention studies mostly used college students as subjects to explore the impact of changes in mental health on creativity. Therefore, this study selected middle school students from the first to third grades of junior high school as the research object, and increased the variable of academic performance, aiming to explore whether the creativity of middle school students is related to mental health and academic performance, and to intervene in the variable of creativity to study creativity. The impact of changes in strength on students’ mental health and academic performance.Research one performance.Study 2 used the control group before and after the test design, the training group was given a two-month creativity training, twice a week, each training time lasted 40 minutes, the control group did not perform any treatment. The third study conducted a follow-up study on the subjects based on the second study, and explored the effect of creativity on the duration of mental health. The results of this study are as follows:(1)The creativity and mental health of middle school students are currently at a medium level of development, and there are significant gender and grade differences in some dimensions.(2)The various dimensions of creative thinking are significantly negatively correlated with the learning pressure and depression of mental health, that is,the better the creative thinking of students, the better their mental health. The dimensions of creative personality are significantly negatively correlated with mental health paranoia, hostility, maladjustment, learning pressure, interpersonal sensitivity, emotional instability, psychological imbalance, anxiety, and depression. The better the health. The adventurous and challenging dimensions of creative personality can negatively predict the individual’s mental health and anxiety and depression, while the imagination dimension can positively predict the individual’s mental health and anxiety.(3)The dimensions of creative thinking and creative personality are significantly positively correlated with students’ math scores and English scores.Among them, the curiosity, challenging dimensions and total score of creative personality can positively predict the individual’s mathematics performance. The hostility, paranoia, interpersonal tension and sensitivity, emotional instability, anxiety, and depression in mental health are significantly negatively correlated with students’ math scores and English scores.Among them, the individual ’ s depression level has a significant negative predictive effect on mathematics and English performance.(4)Creativity training has a positive impact on the fluency, flexibility, originality, and the adventurousness, curiosity, imagination, and challenge of creative thinking of junior high school students;it has a positive impact on the fluency of creative thinking of senior high school students,Flexibility, and uniqueness have positive effects, but have no effect on creative personality. It has a positive and significant impact on the mental health of junior high school students, mainly manifested in the tension and sensitivity of interpersonal relationships, learning pressure, emotional instability, depression, etc.;but it has no effect on the mental health of senior high school students. It has a significant impact on the grades of Chinese, mathematics, and English in the first year of junior high school students, but has no effect on the academic performance of the first year students in senior high school.(5)The long-term effect of creativity in promoting the mental health of middle school students is significant, but the positive effects of some dimensions will gradually disappear with the cessation of creativity training.Through the above three studies,it is concluded that there is a correlation between the creativity, mental health, and academic performance of middle school students, and by exerting an influence on the creativity of middle school students, they can improve and enhance their mental health and academic performance. However, for some dimensions of mental health The effect of scalp does not last forever, and will gradually disappear
