Mobile phone dependence refers to people’s improper use of mobile phones in daily life, causing excessive dependence on mobile phones,so that the individual’s mental health, behavioral activities and social functions are damaged.Mobile phone dependence has become an important factor affecting the mental health and daily life of college students, and it has brought a series of negative effects on people’s physical, psychological and social functions.Studies have shown that compared with normal mobile phone users, mobile phone-dependent individuals show more attention to mobile phone-related information, but it is not clear which mechanism is caused. This article aims to use the spatial cues paradigm to explore the characteristics of mobile phone-dependent college students’ attentional bias towards mobile phone-related cues.Secondly, this study explores the characteristics of the attentional bias under the condition of emotional activation by activating the mobile phone dependent individual’s emotions, and further understands the effect of emotion on mobile phones.Relying on the influence of college students’ attention bias characteristics,so as to provide theoretical support for the intervention and treatment of mobile phone dependence. The study consists of two parts. The first study used the "University Students’ Mobile Phone Addiction Tendency Scale" to test college students, and screened 41 mobile phone dependents and 41 normal mobile phone users.Adopt 2(subject type:mobile phone dependent group, normal mobile phone group)× 2(picture type: mobile phone related graph, neutral graph)× 2(prompt type: effective prompt, invalid prompt)three-factor mixed experimental design to explore mobile phones Rely on the characteristics of college students’ attentional bias towards mobile phone-related cues. The results of the study show that college students who rely on mobile phones have an attention bias toward mobile phone-related pictures. This attention bias includes two components: alertness and difficulty in dispelling attention;college students who normally use mobile phones do not have an attention bias toward mobile phone-related pictures. The second study divided 102 mobile phone dependent college students into three groups, using 3(emotional activation type: positive group, negative group, neutral group)× 2(picture type: mobile phone related graph, mobile phone unrelated graph)×2(reminder type A three-factor mixed experimental design: effective reminder and invalid reminder),to activate the target emotions corresponding to each group of subjects separately, and explore the differences in the attention bias of mobile phonedependent college students under different emotions. The results of the study show that under the condition of positive emotion activation, mobile phone dependent persons have no attentional bias towards mobile phone-related cues, which means that positive emotions can regulate the attentional bias of mobile phone dependent individuals.Under negative emotion priming conditions, the attention bias of mobile phone dependent individuals is higher than that of neutral emotion priming conditions, indicating that negative emotions aggravate the attention bias of mobile phone dependent individuals to cell phone-related cues.In summary, the research has drawn the following conclusions:(1)Mobile phonedependent college students have an attention bias toward mobile phone-related pictures;(2)Positive emotions can regulate the attention bias of mobile phone-dependent individuals;(3)Negative emotions start to increase mobile phone-dependent college students’ attention bias. The attention bias of mobile phone-related pictures. |
