Labor education in the New Era reflects the Communist Party of China’s new requirements for education.Standing in this new historical position,it is necessary to use Marx’s labor concept and Xi Jinping’s labor concept in the New Era of socialism with Chinese characteristics as the theoretical basis and guiding ideology,and give full play to the full range of labor education in the "five education simultaneously" education system.Command the role and function,and promote the all-round development of students.The function of labor education in the New Era is embodied in two levels: social function and individual function.Social function refers to the positive effect of labor education on the social development of our country.First,labor education is conducive to my country’s adherence to and development of socialism with Chinese characteristics;secondly,it is conducive to my country’s steady realization of the goal of building a modern education power;finally,the realization of the Chinese dream of great national rejuvenation requires the support of an ideological and labor-quality work force.,Labor education is conducive to my country’s training of innovative and high-quality laborers to help realize the Chinese dream.The individual function of labor education refers to its positive role in promoting the overall development of people.This is reflected in the fact that labor education is an important starting point,which can improve the effectiveness of moral education,promote the practice of intellectual education,promote people’s physical and mental health,and enhance their aesthetics.Realm,so that the human body can realize the beauty of labor,and then effectively improve the comprehensive quality of students.The primary issue of education is who to train.The national nature of our country determines that the fundamental task of education is to train socialist builders and successors who develop comprehensively in moral,intellectual,physical,and artistic.Labor education plays an irreplaceable key role in the talent training system.Since the founding of New China,certain achievements have been made in the development of labor education in our country,but there are also some areas that need adjustment and innovation.In order to make better use of the social and individual functions of labor education,it is necessary to analyze the status of the implementation of labor education and the existing shortcomings,and prescribe the right medicine.The current problems are mainly reflected in the following: First,the misunderstanding of the implementation of labor education leads to the problem of only focusing on practice and lack of labor theory education;second,the lack of resource protection for labor practice activities leads to deviations in the development of labor practice activities The third problem is that the family and society’s labor education plan is not clear,which leads to the ambiguity of their responsibilities and goals;fourth,the labor education evaluation system and standards have not kept up with the development of the times,which has caused the system to reflect the problem of standard simplification;Fifth,the current lack of an integrated target system in universities,middle schools and primary schools leads to a lack of continuity and accuracy.These objective shortcomings hinder the effective function of labor education to a certain extent,and also point out the changes for the policy adjustment and system innovation of follow-up labor education.After a comprehensive analysis of the existing problems and causes,combined with the theoretical basis and guiding ideology of labor education,this research mainly proposes the following five targeted practical paths.One is to build a labor education resource system.Pay attention to strengthening the construction and improvement of labor education theoretical system,promote the construction of labor education disciplines and professional courses,and attach importance to the training of labor education teachers in the New Era to promote the improvement of labor education.The second is to innovate the labor education practice system.In practice,implement the labor practice activities based on the system principle,strengthen the cycle labor activities based on the continuity principle,and pay attention to the comprehensive improvement of labor from both explicit education and implicit education.Educational effectiveness.The third is to coordinate with all parties of labor education to give full play to the basic role of family labor education,the leading role of school labor education,and the leading role of social labor education.The fourth is to improve labor educationEducation evaluation system,strengthen the student-oriented orientation,and enhance the scientific and comprehensive nature of the evaluation system.The fifth is to coordinate the educational goals of each school section,and strive to form a coherent and integrated training system between each school section,and enable universities,middle schools and primary schools to set targeted goals based on their own characteristics,so as to better play the leading role of school labor education.According to the above practice path,we can realize the effective play of the labor education function in the New Era and promote the development of labor education in our country.
