| Professional resilience is one of the important psychological factors in the process of teachers’ professional development,which can stimulate the internal potential of individuals,help individuals overcome negative emotions and danger,and promote the growth of individuals in adversity.There is an increasingly demand for special education teachers in society in order to further promote the education equality.Consequently,the teachers are facing more and more challenges,which not only require excellent professional knowledge,but also strong professional affection.This study takes special education teachers as the research object.Firstly,the status quo of professional resilience of 164 special education teachers was investigated to understand the development characteristics.Secondly,an in-depth interview was conducted with 26 special education teachers to understand the influencing factors of their professional resilience.Finally,based on Rickwood’s(2004)intervention framework of professional resilience,and the results of previous studies on influencing factors,a group intervention program(intervention group of 20 and control group of 20)was developed to improve the professional resilience of special education teachers.The following conclusions are drawn:(1)The professional resilience of special education teachers is generally at the middle level;(2)There are significant differences in the professional resilience of special education teachers in gender,teaching years,age,education background,professional title,position,monthly income,discipline background and employment nature.Gender,age,teaching years,professional title,professional quality,experience,school management style and colleague relationship are the influencing factors of special education teachers’ professional resilience.(3)Self-designed intervention program can significantly improve the professional resilience of special education teachers. |
