Study On The Relationship Between Exercise Motivation,Taijiquan Exercise And Happiness In Middle-Aged And Old People

As a conventional sporting events suitable for middle and old age,the function of "cure unillness",culture of mind and body,and the strong cultural charm of the national culture are the characteristics of it.In this study,BREQ-2,Tai Chi practice behavior questionnaire and comprehensive happiness questionnaire were used to measure the exercise motivation,Tai Chi practice and happiness of the middle-aged and elderly,and the relationship between the exercise motivation,Tai Chi practice and happiness of the middle-aged and elderly was studied by the method of literature review,questionnaire,mathematical statistics and interview.Through the research,the results are as follows:(1)The number of years of practicing Taijiquan has significant positive correlation with integration adjustment,identity adjustment,friendly relationship and general well-being;There were significant positive correlation between the number of days a week practicing Taijiquan and internal regulation,integration regulation,identity regulation,life satisfaction,vitality,health concern,personality growth and general well-being.There were significant positive correlation between each exercise time and integration adjustment,identity adjustment,life satisfaction,vitality,altruistic behavior,health care,overall well-being.(2)The identification adjustment,the conformity adjustment may forecast(after controlling the population variable)the Taijiquan practice;one week Taijiquan Practice Day number may forecast the vitality significantly positively,daily Tai Chi exercise time can significantly predict health care,overall well-being;internal regulation can significantly predict self-worth,altruistic behavior,introverted regulation can significantly predict life satisfaction,self-worth,vitality,friendly relationship and altruistic behavior,and integrated regulation can significantly predict life vitality and friendly relationship,identity regulation can significantly predict life satisfaction,self-worth,vitality,friendly relationship,health care,personality growth,and general well-being.(3)The significance test of the three path coefficients of identification regulation,Taijiquan exercise and general well-being all met the requirements of significance.The standardized regression Coefficient of the influence path of “identification regulation → Taijiquan exercise” was 0.140,the Standard Regression Coefficient of“identity adjustment → overall well-being” was 0.335,and that of “Taijiquan exercise → overall well-being” was 0.148 The significance test of three path coefficients of integration adjustment,Taijiquan exercise and life all meet the requirements of significance.The standardized regression Coefficient of “integration adjustment → Taijiquan exercise” affecting path is 0.203 The Standard Regression Coefficient of “integration adjustment → vitality” is 0.436,and that of “Taijiquan exercise → vitality” is 0.157.(4)The case study shows that the motivation of the middle-aged and old people participating in Taijiquan is to strengthen the body and culture,and the skill learning confidence,exercise guidance and sports injury have some influence on the exercise persistence Taijiquan exercise can promote the well-being of the middle-aged and the elderly,mainly the enhancement of disease resistance,the improvement of interpersonal relations,the embodiment of Self-worth.According to the research results,the following conclusions are drawn:(1)The Independent exercise motivation can promote the exercise behavior of the middle-aged and old people’s Taijiquan,while the control exercise motivation has little effect on the exercise behavior of the middle-aged and old people’s Taijiquan,the pressure caused by Taijiquan is weakened and is more persistent than the controlling motivation.(2)The improvement of Taijiquan practice behavior can promote the well-being level of middle-aged and old people,which is mainly reflected in the vitality of life,health care and general well-being,and shows that Taijiquan can regulate and enhance the functions of various systems of middle-aged and old people’s bodies,the positive role of physical and mental interaction.(3)When exercise motivation is externalized into Taijiquan exercise behavior,exercise motivation can directly or indirectly affect the middle-aged and old people’s well-being level,which is mainly reflected in the vitality and overall well-being.(4)The motive such as strengthening body and mind,cultural inheritance and so on is the important factor that urges the middle-aged and old people to choose Taijiquan.The influence of Taijiquan on the well-being of the middle-aged and the elderly is first manifested through the prevention and cure of diseases,and secondly,the practice of Taijiquan can improve the interpersonal relationship and self-worth of the practitioners to a certain extent,and get more satisfaction out of life.
