| For a long time,the mentally retarded children,who are regarded as vulnerable groups,have been sympathized and concerned by the whole society.However,the support for the mentally handicapped children is mainly manifested as "attaching importance to material care rather than sports intervention".This practice is not conducive to the long-term physical and mental development of mentally retarded children,but also affects their own understanding of the value of sports,making them form that "sports are the exclusive property of healthy people" ”The wrong cognition.Therefore,how to adopt scientific and effective physical education teaching methods to make special children feel the joy of sports and promote their physical and mental health development has become a problem that contemporary physical education teachers should think about and solve.This paper adopts the methods of literature,questionnaire,mathematical statistics,experiment and measurement.An experimental study was conducted on 30 mild mentally retarded students aged 10-12 in Zhiai School of Liwan District,Guangzhou.In badminton teaching,the experimental class adopts the badminton technology related sports games compiled by physical education teachers to organize badminton teaching for students with mild mental retardation;the badminton teaching in the control class adopts traditional teaching methods.Through the comparison of the research results between the above sports game teaching method and the traditional sports teaching method,the following conclusions are drawn(1)Compared with the control class,male and female students in the experimental class have significantly improved in badminton skills,which shows that the application of sports game teaching method in badminton teaching can effectively promote the improvement of students’ badminton skills.(2)The traditional badminton teaching method and sports game teaching method have significant effect on the improvement of the physical quality of children with mild mental retardation;in the aspect of flexibility quality,girls have significantly improved than boys,and the improvement range of experimental class is higher than that of control class;in the level of physical quality,the improvement of experimental class is higher than that of control class.(3)Compared with the students in the control class,the experimental class students have improved in learning interest,classroom pleasure and classroom participation.The results show that the badminton skills of the experimental class are significantly improved compared with the control class,which shows that the teaching method of combining sports games with badminton technology can promote the improvement of badminton technical ability of children with mild mental retardation. |
