The Influence Of Parenting Style On Depression Of Secondary Vocational School Students:the Mediating Effect Of Bullying

In recent years,the phenomenon of campus bullying has become increasingly prominent,and more and more attention has been paid,resulting in more and more psychological problems.This paper takes secondary vocational school students as the research object to explore the relationship among parenting style,bullying and depression.614 secondary vocational school students were investigated with EMBU,dbvs-s and SDS in order to provide scientific basis for mental health education.The results of this study are as follows:First,generally speaking,the positive degree of parenting style of secondary vocational school students is in the middle level.Compared with junior high school and senior high school,secondary vocational school students’ parents give their children less warmth and understanding in emotion.Secondary vocational school students are generally bullied.Among them,verbal bullying and social / relational bullying are the main ones,followed by physical bullying,and the probability of online bullying is low.Depression was prevalent in secondary vocational school students,with mild depression accounting for 30.11%,moderate depression accounting for 26.89%,and severe depression accounting for 4.55%.Second,there are significant differences in demographic variables such as gender,grade,source,singleton,bullying behavior,absenteeism,and whether your parents go out to work when you are very young.There are significant differences in demographic variables such as gender,grade,singleton,absenteeism and so on.There are significant differences in depression among secondary school students There are significant differences in demographic variables such as no truancy,whether parents go out to work when you are very young.Third,in addition to the two factors of father and mother’s emotional warmth and understanding,there is a significant negative correlation between bullying and the other nine factors of parenting style.There is a significant negative correlation between the depression of secondary vocational school students and their parents’ emotional warmth and understanding.There is a significant positive correlation between the depression of secondary vocational school students and father’s punishment,severity,father’s rejection,denial,father’s over protection,mother’s rejection,denial,mother’s punishment and severity.There was a significant positive correlation between depression and bullying.Fourth,parents’ emotional warmth and understanding had a significant negative predictive effect on the depression of secondary vocational school students,while bullying and mother’s rejection and denial had a significant positive predictive effect on the depression of secondary vocational school students.Fifthly,there is an intermediary effect between parents’ upbringing and depression.Being bullied played a part of mediating role in the positive parenting styles of "father’s emotional warmth and understanding" and "mother’s emotional warmth and understanding" on depression.Being bullied played a partial mediating role in the negative parenting styles of "father punishment,severe","father refused,denied","mother refused,denied","mother punished,severe" on depression.Being bullied played a full mediating role in the influence of father’s excessive protection on depression.
