In recent years,With the increasement of the numbers of autistic children have been identified and diagnosed,the education and intervention of them are becoming an urgent social problem that should be solved well in all around the world.Our Chinese government and education department have also introduced relevant policies,which requires we need to emphasis the education and intervention to exceptional children,such as the autistic children.Language barrier is one of the main barriers for autistic children.Finding the ways to promote the language development and improve the ability of understand and expression can make them get on well with normal children,reduce the burden of their families,and promote the social harmony and progress.After reviewing lots of literatures at home and abroad on Applied Autistic Analysis and Verbal Behavior Approach,this paper study that Verbal Behavior Approach may have a nice practical value in training the language of Autistic children.The study was use the single subject reverse experiment that conducted on three autistic children,and the baseline values of this study were obtained through the language and behavior milestone assessment scale,basic information questionnaire,and reinforcing-object questionnaire,etc.,and combined with the researchers’ daily observation and communication with parents.On this basis,the researchers made individualized language training plan,which based on the principle of Applied Behavior Analysis for language development of 3autistic children,which were divided into three stages: intervention period A,reversal period and intervention period B,and this educational intervention carried out for 4months in total.Research shows that the language behavioral method based on the principle of applied behavioral analysis has a significant positive effect on the language training of autistic children,and can effectively improve the skills of listener response,imitation,naming,request,visual matching and dialogue skills of autistic children.At the same time,the study found that the training of the key abilities of the autistic children also promoted the development of other related language skills and behaviors of the autistic children,such as games,social interaction,mathematics and other skills.In general,this study found that the Verbal Behavior Approach that based on the principle of Applied Behavior Analysis can enrich the language vocabulary of autistic children,improve their language comprehension and communication ability,and reduce their problematic behaviors.The use of Verbal Behavior Approach can have a positive impact on language training of autistic children.
