The health of young children is closely related to the future of the country and the nation. However,in recent years, the physical fitness of young children has gradually declined, and the number of "little chubby" and "small glasses" is increasing. This crisis has caused many experts and scholars to attach importance to the development of high-quality children’s physical education curriculum. However, the survey shows that most kindergarten teachers know very little about physical fitness,so how to construct a children’s physical fitness curriculum with both standardized and playful features is really a problem. This study tries to analyze the content of 111 selected sports cases in different cities and combine the interviews and observations of front-line teaching staff to sort out the existing problems in current kindergarten sports activities and put forward targeted strategies,so as to provide help for the construction of scientific physical education courses in kindergartens.Through case analysis, the study found that the kindergarten sports activities have these problems: although the goals are more, they are not reasonable, and the proportion of "processes and methods" goals is insufficient, which means that teachers lack specific methods of sports instruction.Although there are many contents, they are not balanced.More than 50% of activities develop children’s mobility skills, while operational skills and stability skills only account for 20%.90% of activities focus on children’s sensitivity and coordination, while endurance, speed, flexibility, and balance are neglected.Focusing only on the development of individual motor skills and physical abilities will lead to the incomplete development of children.Although there are many equipments, they are not streamlined.More than five sports equipments are used in nearly half of the cases.Teachers have poor guidance ability. In addition to supervision, the guidance behaviors of teachers, such as cognitive establishment, group guidance, individual guidance, management work, refereeing, and participation, are less than 30%.Teachers have insufficient knowledge of safety precautions.60% of active children do not wear sport clothing, and 70% of active children do not warm up and relax, which will increase the risk of injury. The situation creation is too blunt, ignoring the game content and focusing on form.Teachers pay too much attention to "one thing with many plays",emphasizing the scientific exploration and role playing functions of the equipment, and pay too little attention to how to use the equipment to achieve the development of physical and motor skills.Researchers have proposed targeted strategies from the perspectives of administrative departments and colleges, kindergartens, and teachers. For the administrative departments and universities,it is necessary to formulate a comprehensive guide manual for kindergarten sports activities, organize regular communication and training for kindergarten teachers, and improve the PE teaching ability of preschool normal university students. For kindergartens, systematic physical education courses and plans should be formulated, more collective physical education teaching and research should be carried out,and the emphasis on the professionalism of equipment should be increased. For teachers, curriculum design should be streamlined, attention should be paid to direct instruction to young children, safety awareness should be strengthened, and appropriate situations should be created according to the content of sports activities. |
