The study probes into the impact work engagement has on professional identity among teachers in secondary vocational schools,and proves the mediation effect of psychological resilience between the two.The study conducts a questionnaire survey covering 476 teachers from 4 secondary vocational schools in Fujian province to investigate their status in professional identity,psychological resilience and work engagement.The conclusion are as follows:(1)The professional identity of vocational school teachers is at an upper-intermediate level and their psychological resilience and work engagement are both at an upper-intermediate level.(2)There is a significant difference in professional identity,psychological resilience and work engagement among vocational school teachers of different gender,seniority,subject or income.(3)There is a significant correlation between professional identity,psychological resilience and work engagement.Professional identity is positively correlated with psychological resilience,professional identity with work engagement and psychological resilience with work engagement.(4)Each dimension of psychological resilience plays a partial mediation role in the relationship between professional identity and work engagement.
