In recent years,as China enters the middle and late stages of urbanization, some significant changes have taken place in the process of population migration. After a long period of rapid growth, the scale and speed of population migration between rural and urban in China has slowed down, while the urban-urban floating population has increased significantly and will continue to increase.Based on the empirical experience of developed countries,it can be speculated that in the future, the urban-urban floating population will gradually replace the rural-urban floating population. Finally,it will become the main form of population migration in China. Therefore, with comprehensively promoting the civilization of floating population become the core of urbanization, the success of China’s new urbanization,is depends on how we can succeed in making urban-urban floating population smoothly integrate into the new city and realizing "re-civilization".However,most of the current related researches focus on the overall floating population or rural-urban floating population. There are few special studies on urban-urban floating population. The research on the spatial differentiation and influencing factors of social integration of urban-urban floating population is rare.In view of this, this paper builds a multi-dimensional assessment index system of social integration of urban-urban floating population, based on China’s dynamic population monitoring data in 2017,in order to characterize the spatial differentiation of social integration level and influencing factors of urban-urban floating population. The results show that:(1)At this stage, the level of social integration of the urban-urban floating population in China is generally optimistic, and there are obvious regional differences and dimensions differences, which are reflected in the following aspects:First, the east is higher than the west and middle.Second, the subjective integration dimension is higher than objective integration dimension;(2)The overall level and each dimension level of social integration of urban-urban floating population has spatial differentiation and spatial agglomeration: From the perspective of spatial distribution, the level of social integration of urban-urban floating population has a U-shaped,and both the objective and subjective dimensions have the characteristics of the primary and the long tail. From the perspective of spatial agglomeration, the level of social integration of urban-urban floating population forms a "urban cluster hotspot" centered on the provinces of the Pearl River Delta to the Yangtze River Economic Belt, while the southeast, southwest, and Yellow River coastal provinces are the core of “cold spot areas”,the high-low value areas are V-shaped across the country, and the low-high value areas are mainly distributed in the border provinces in clumps.Based on these,31 provinces in China can be divided into four regional models: core type, sub core type, half edge type, edge type;(3)The level of social integration of urban-urban floating population is effected by individuals, families and regions. In terms of role, years of education, parents ’migration experience, and residents’ consumption level in the place of origin have a positive effect on the overall and each dimension of social integration level of urban-urban floating population.Age and number of migrations are separately generated positive and negative effects in the overall and subjective dimensions. The family size and the per capita GDP of the inflow region have positive effects in both the overall and objective dimensions. In the overall level, the social welfare level of the inflow region and flow time separately generated negative and positive effects. The level of urbanization only produces negative effects in the integration of subjective dimensions. From the perspective of influence, variables such as age, years of education, parental migration experience, family size, and consumption level of the outflow residents are more important. While the number of migrations, flow time, per capita GDP and urbanization of the inflow region, residents’ consumption level in the place of origin are weak.
