With the development of society,the wealth of family economy and the deepening of the concept of early reading,people gradually realize the importance of early reading for children’s development.Father and children are naturally related by blood.In family education,father’s role is irreplaceable,and social development has given father new responsibilities in the new era.In view of this,from the perspective of father,this paper makes an in-depth study on the status quo of father’s participation in parent-child reading.In this study,a total of 251 fathers participated in the questionnaire.After 11 invalid questionnaires were screened out,240 questionnaires were analyzed.This paper analyzes the causes of father’s problems in parent-child reading in Baoding City,and puts forward more scientific and reasonable suggestions.First of all,this study from the following six dimensions to explore: father’s attitude towards parent-child reading,father’s participation in parent-child reading degree,parent-child reading environment,father’s participation in parent-child reading guidance strategy,extended education,father’s participation in parent-child reading difficulties,found that the current Baoding father’s participation in parent-child reading has the following problems: father generally has no plan when carrying out parent-child reading The results show that the participation level is low,the parent-child reading atmosphere is not in place,the accompanying reading is not patient,the extended education is not in place,the work is busy,and there is no time and energy.Secondly,through the case study to explore the motivation of three fathers with different educational levels to participate in children’s parent-child reading is: to cultivate children’s interest in reading,cultivate children’s good reading habits,and enhance father-child / daughter’s parent-child emotion;father’s ways to participate in parent-child reading are: to create a comfortable reading environment,to unify family education methods,to learn early reading guidance methods;father’s role in practice The difficulties encountered in the process of participation are: busy work,target positioning deviation,difficult to adhere to.Finally,this paper analyzes the causes of the problems of father’s participation in children’s parent-child reading and puts forward corresponding suggestions.Mainly from the following four angles: from the father’s point of view: to improve the father’s own participation level,master a variety of reading methods and skills,scientific choice of reading materials,master a variety of questioning skills;from the perspective of family environment: to improve the family reading environment,exert the influence of the environment,family members unify the concept of education,create a harmonious family atmosphere;from the perspective of family environment From the perspective of kindergarten: through home cooperation,create opportunities to promote good parent-child relationship,build a communication platform for fathers,and guide fathers to participate in parent-child reading formally;from the perspective of society: the government should gradually improve the laws and regulations of fathers’ participation in parenting,provide comprehensive guarantee for fathers’ Participation,and ensure the quality and quantity of fathers’ participation in children’s reading.
