| In the form of preschool education organization,there are two kinds of class arrangement mode: the same age and mixed age.Many studies have found that compared with the same age class,mixed age class has greater advantages,especially in the aspect of children’s sociality.Some scholars have pointed out that good peer relationships play an important role in promoting children’s physical and mental health and social development,especially in the middle-class age,which is the key period for the development of children’s social competence with peers.As a part-time post graduate,the researcher has ready access to research kindergarten of the two class arrangement modes.Therefore,the researcher study from the two different class arrangement modes to peer relationships of middle-class children.In this study,the main class teachers of s city s Kindergarten(same age class)and sub-Kindergarten(mixed age class)were selected to evaluate the situation of children’s peer relationships by questionnaire.The results showed that: 1.No matter which kind of class arrangement,children’s peer relationships falls within the normal development level;2.By analyzing the score of each dimension of children’s peer relations,we learned that the mixed age class children are more active in social communication.3.Based on the different class arrangement,the researchers discussed and analyzed kindergarten culture,teacher guidance and communication places.Finally,the researcher puts forward educational suggestions from three aspects: 1)to form a class atmosphere of mutual help and care;2)to take the development of children’s peer relationships as an important content of teaching research and teacher training;3)to design friendly interaction space. |
