Research On The Integration Of Taihang Spirit Into Ideological And Political Education In Colleges And Universities

General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out that we should vigorously carry forward the red tradition,inherit the red gene,and continue the spiritual blood of the Communist Party,and repeatedly visited Jinggang Mountain,Yan ’an,Xibaipo and other revolutionary holy places,repeatedly emphasizing the importance of carrying forward the revolutionary spirit.Taihang spirit came into being when the country and nation were in danger,and was incubated by Taihang army and people in the baptism of blood and fire.It embodies the excellent qualities of Chinese Communists and accumulates inexhaustible precious spiritual wealth.In the new era of national rejuvenation and national prosperity,the Taihang spirit still strengthens the ideals,convictions and indomitable will of the Chinese people.As a new man of The Times who takes on the historic task of realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation,college students need to draw strength from the Taihang spirit,strengthen their ideals and beliefs,cultivate patriotism and cultivate the consciousness of hard struggle.Based on this,this paper mainly focuses on how to integrate Taihang spirit into the ideological and political education in colleges and universities,including four parts.The first part summarizes the relevant content of Taihang spirit.First,the paper discusses the formation conditions of Taihang spirit from five aspects: geographical advantage,humanistic tradition,social practice,ideological foundation and mass foundation.Secondly,Comrade Xi Jinping made a new summary of the connotation of Taihang spirit during his investigation in Shanxi Province on May 24,2009.Based on this,this paper discusses the basic connotation of Taihang spirit from four aspects.Thirdly,it points out that Taihang spirit is never out of date,Dazhai spirit and Youyu spirit are the spiritual continuation of the contemporary Taihang spirit,and Shen Jilan and Li Baoguo are the model of the times to carry forward the Taihang spirit.The second part examines the value of integrating Taihang spirit into ideological and political education in colleges and universities.First of all,it points out that it is feasible to integrate Taihang spirit into ideological and political education in colleges and universities.Taihang spirit and ideological and political education in colleges and universities are inherently compatible with each other and complement each other’s advantages.In addition,North University of China has successfully integrated Taihang spirit into ideological and political education in colleges and universities as a typical case for reference.Secondly,it points out that it is necessary to integrate Taihang spirit into the ideological and political education in colleges and universities,which is the internal need to improve the spiritual quality of college students,the practical need to enhance the effectiveness of ideological and political education in colleges and universities,and the need of the times to inherit and carry forward the Taihang spirit.The third part analyzes the present situation of integrating Taihang Spirit into ideological and political education in colleges and universities.First of all,a sample survey is conducted among colleges and universities across the country in the form of questionnaires to investigate the reality of integrating Taihang spirit into ideological and political education in colleges and universities.Secondly,on the basis of sorting out and analyzing the survey data,this paper points out that when Taihang spirit is integrated into the ideological and political education in colleges and universities,it is faced with some difficulties,such as the relatively difficult integration of Taihang spirit into the ideological and political education courses,the ineffective construction of carrying forward the Taihang spirit in colleges and universities,and the insufficient initiative of college students in learning the Taihang spirit.Thirdly,the paper analyzes the causes of the predicament that Taihang spirit is integrated into the ideological and political education in colleges and universities,and points out that the main reasons are the regional limitations of Taihang spirit,the vulnerability of college students to the influence of adverse social trends of thought,and the weakening of education effect due to the fragmentation of network information dissemination.The fourth part,on the basis of the analysis of the present situation,from the perspective of improving the way of educating people,puts forward the practical path of integrating Taihang spirit into the ideological and political education in colleges and universities.We should take classroom teaching as the main channel and promote curriculum education as a whole.Based on the red resources of Taihang Mountain,we should promote practical education.We should take the campus education environment construction as the key to promote cultural education deeply.To improve the network ideological and political education platform as the starting point,innovation to promote the network education.
