Analysis On The Characteristics Of The World Champion Group Of Nanjing Sport Institute

China’s competitive sports in the international arena has achieved gratifying results,in 2008 also made the gold medal ranking first,but there are still many shortcomings in the development of China’s competitive sports: the development of the project structure is not balanced,the scientific selection is not standardized,the problem of retired athletes is still difficult.Therefore,on the basis of multidisciplinary and multi perspective investigation and Research on the characteristics of the previous Olympic champion group,this paper analyzes and studies the characteristics of the world champion group of Nanjing Institute of physical education in Jiangsu Province,and finds that:(1)the world champions of Southern sports are mainly concentrated in skills and badminton and other traditional advantage projects,and each project has 20 or more world champions,accounting for about 50% There are 58 male athletes,accounting for about 57%,and 43 female world champions,accounting for about 43%.In terms of the number of champions,there is a relative balance between men and women.(2)Most of the places of birth are from prefecture level cities in Jiangsu Province,and the cities with more than 10 people are Nanjing,Xuzhou,Nantong,Changzhou and Suzhou.These five cities are economically developed or have better sports atmosphere.(3)The winning events are very concentrated,92 of them are in the skill dominant event group,and 55 of them are in the performance difficulty and beauty sub event group.(4)The average age of starting training is about 8 ± 3.13 years old,the youngest is 4 years old,and the oldest is 16 years old;the average training period from the first world champion to the first world champion is about 12 ± 2.59 years,the least is 6 years,and the most is 18 years;the average age of the first world champion is about 20 ± 3.27 years old,the earliest is 12 years old,and the latest is 24 years old.(5)Most of the choices after retirement are in two directions,one is to continue to study and further study,the other is re employment.The re employment direction is relatively broad,mainly engaged in sports coaches,teachers,sports management and sports research,and a small number of people switch to business and management.
