Perception of emotional information and its changes is an essential ability in social interaction.When we judge the emotions of others,we not only rely on a single cue or channel,but often complete it through the information integration of two or even multiple channels,in which the visual and auditory channels are the main sources for us to judge the emotions of others.Adolescent individuals have their unique characteristics in emotional information processing,and compared with physical development,the development of language ability is relatively weakened.Therefore,in order to investigate the audio-visual automated integration of adolescent emotional information processing ability,our research used ERPs technology and oddball paradigm,recruited adults and adolescents to explore the emotional information and emotional information whether can be automated integration process,whether in the audio-visual integration processing emotional information has its advantages or specificity,and,more importantly,investigate whether these characteristics there is stability in the adolescent stage.Experiments used the neutral face(closed mouth)with neutral voice as standard stimuli,the neutral faces(micro mouth)with neutral voice as deviation stimuli,angry face with angry voice deviation,standard stimulus to 80% chance of random,two kinds of deviation stimulation,respectively,with 10% of the probability and random,the experimental task is only used to test subjects are concentrating,for there is no black faces tip cross image button.Experiment 1 showed that adults’ mismatched responses to emotional stimuli were significantly stronger than those to non-emotional stimuli.The dominant effect of emotional information was consistent across hemispheres.Experiment 2 showed that the teenagers in the early stages of cognitive processing and the integration of the audio-visual information processing,but emotional stimuli relatively neutral stimulus has not showed obvious advantages,but there are certain cerebral hemisphere advantage effect,and the brain regions between differences in the performance of emotional information processing,this may indicate the adolescent stage is the formation of emotional information automation integration mechanism or change stage.
