Now most cities in China have entered the "technology revitalization era".The new era puts forward higher comprehensive quality requirements for Vocational College Students’ professional skills.For professional skilled talents,it is not only the improvement of professional knowledge,but also the improvement of comprehensive physical quality.The main purpose of this study is to find out the actual problems and root causes of physical exercise of students in Xinjiang Vocational Colleges,so as to carry out teaching ideas and mode reform.Through investigation and research,more effective teaching methods are adopted to improve the physical quality of students in higher vocational colleges,and eventually become compound talents needed by society and enterprises.This paper aims at the current situation of physical exercise of students in Higher Vocational Colleges as the research starting point,combined with the research object: Xinjiang Light Industry Vocational and technical college students,with the methods and means of physical exercise to make adjustments,the reform of teaching methods,to achieve the purpose of improving students’ physical quality.In this study,we draw the following conclusions:1.Xinjiang Vocational College students are affected by the regional climate and school hardware conditions,students participate in physical exercise for a short time,low frequency,students like sports subjectively,but lack of scientific sports guidance and supervision,students’ understanding of physical exercise only exists on the surface.2.Two PE classes a week,except for the theoretical explanation time of technical movements and ideological and political courses,the effective exercise time,exercise amount and exercise intensity of students are not enough to support the maintenance and improvement of physical fitness for a week.3.The physical fitness of 18-24-year-old students in school shows a gradual decline trend,such as addicted to the Internet,staying up late,not eating breakfast and other bad habits lead to poor continuity of physical exercise,reduction of the number of exercise activities,and gradual decline of students’ physical fitness.4.The students in higher vocational colleges are lack of awareness of physical exercise,and the frequency of exercise after class is reduced.At present,students in higher vocational colleges are obviously lack of awareness of physical exercise.Suggestions:1.Physical education curriculum evaluation reform: physical quality has become an important indicator of graduation appraisal,so as to supervise and strengthen the consciousness of students’ independent exercise and improve their physical quality.2.Professional curriculum reform: the reform effect of physical education curriculum and extracurricular physical exercise in higher vocational colleges is not obvious.Teaching ideas and mode teaching reform are carried out according to the learning cycle of higher vocational colleges.3.Different professional assessment standards: reconstruct the proportion of physical examination content,quantitative assessment content is relatively reduced,independent exercise content as the main assessment,the proportion of score increases,so as to force the frequency of exercise activities increase,imperceptibly improve students’ interest in exercise.4.Characteristic curriculum: according to the characteristic climate of Xinjiang,the winter ice and snow sports courses are added,the students’ physical training time is increased,the students’ will quality is trained,and the regional characteristics are fully utilized to cultivate students’ new sports skills and hobbies.5.Construction of skill-based physical education curriculum system: higher vocational colleges carry out characteristic forms and activities of physical exercise according to the school’s advantageous majors,such as hiking tour guide activities of Tourism Management Major of economic management branch,stair climbing competition of elevator maintenance specialty of mechanical technology branch,etc.,so as to fully mobilize the enthusiasm of students to participate in physical exercise. |
