Entrepreneurial ability of college students refers to a comprehensive ability that college students combine their existing professional knowledge and skills to realize innovation and entrepreneurship,create various values and reflect their unique personality traits in the process of starting a business.The cultivation of college students’ entrepreneurial ability can promote the development of their comprehensive ability,increase employment opportunities,improve the entrepreneurial education system in colleges and universities,and enrich the evaluation theory of entrepreneurship education.In recent years,with the slogan of "mass entrepreneurship and innovation" proposed,China has begun to step into the era of "mass entrepreneurship and innovation".Under this social background,the cultivation of college students’ entrepreneurial ability is particularly important,and carrying out the evaluation of college students’ entrepreneurial ability is an important way to achieve this purpose.In this study,"entrepreneurial ability of college students" was used as a key word to search,and it was found that the existing literature researches on entrepreneurial ability of college students included connotation research,significance research,promotion strategy research and so on.There are also some achievements in the research on the evaluation of college students’ entrepreneurial ability,but there are also problems such as lack of innovation and unclear research subjects.Therefore,on the basis of referring to the existing research,this study clarifies the connotation of entrepreneurial ability,selects the components of entrepreneurial ability,constructs the evaluation index system of entrepreneurial ability of college students with Chinese characteristics,and realizes the improvement and development of entrepreneurial ability of college students.On the basis of clarifying the connotation of college students’ entrepreneurial ability,this study carries out the research on the evaluation system of college students’ entrepreneurial ability.First of all,the qualitative research method is adopted to conduct in-depth interviews with college students and entrepreneurship mentors to understand the views and opinions of these groups on the entrepreneurial ability of college students,and the grounded theory is used to code the interview content,and finally the theoretical model of the composition of entrepreneurial ability of college students is obtained.Secondly,by referring to the elements contained in the theoretical model,the importance of these elements is evaluated by using the expert evaluation method.Combined with the literature method,the indicators of college students’ entrepreneurial ability are preliminarily established.Then,the pre-test questionnaire is carried out,and the feasibility of the pre-test questionnaire is analyzed.Then,combined with the survey results of the formal questionnaire to carry out factor analysis,finally obtains the evaluation index system of college students’ entrepreneurial ability including 3 firstlevel indicators,10 second-level indicators,34 third-level indicators,and carries on the weight calculation of these indicators.Finally,combined with the survey results and literature review,the factors affecting the development of college students’ entrepreneurial ability are obtained and the methods and strategies to promote the improvement of college students’ entrepreneurial ability are proposed.
